Therefore, it is not possible to finish the backrest surface into a curved surface that is optimal for the backrest, and the sofa does not have a good backrest condition.

A swinging piece is attached, and the other swinging piece of the hinge is removably inserted into a hinge receiver fixed to an indoor wall surface, so that the lower end of the backrest can swing toward the front. It is attached to an indoor wall surface, and a space is formed between the backrest and the floor into which one side edge of the bed can be inserted, and when the bed is inserted into the space, the backrest The lower end surface of the bed portion and the upper surface of the bed portion are in close contact with each other.

As shown in the cross-sectional view of FIG. 1, the sofa bed 1 consists of a movable bed part 2 and a backrest part 3 separate from the bed part 2. The structure of the bed part 2 consists of a framework 4
A web spring 5 is stretched on the upper surface, and casters 6, 6, etc. are provided at the four corners of the lower surface of the frame, and the four circumferences of the frame 4 and the upper surface of the web spring 5 are covered with a cushion material 6, and finally, a quilted top layer is formed. A known structure such as the one finished in 7 can be appropriately employed. The dimensions of the bed portion 2 are set to a height H suitable for a seat (for example, H=about 400 mm) and a width dimension W (for example, W=about 850 mm) to ensure at least a single bed width.

An appropriate structure may be adopted, such as finishing with a quilted top lining 10 and, if necessary, finishing lining 11 on the back side of the frame 8. A fixing piece 12a of the hinge 12 is attached to each side of the upper edge of the back of the backrest 3.
As shown in FIG. 2, it is attached to the frame 8 with screws 13 or the like. Hinge receivers 15, 15 corresponding to the hinges 12, 12 are attached to the indoor wall surface 14 where the sofa bed 1 is installed by screws 17, etc., and the swinging piece 12b of the hinge 12 is inserted into the insertion space 15a of the hinge receiver 15. By being removably inserted from above (see FIG. 3A), the backrest 3 is swingably mounted on the indoor wall surface 14 (see FIGS. 1 and 3B). Swing piece 1 of the hinge 12
2b is screwed to the hinge receiver 15 as necessary.
It is temporarily fixed by 6 etc. The bed portion 2 includes a lower surface 3a of a backrest portion 3 suspended on an indoor wall surface 14.
and one longitudinal side thereof is inserted into and out of the space S of the indoor floor surface 18, and a seating area A is provided on the upper surface 2a.

The swing piece 12b of the hinge 12 attached to the back of the backrest 3 to the hinge receivers 15, 15 attached to the upper predetermined positions.
Insert from above. Next, when the bed is to be put into use, as shown in FIG. (Arrow B
direction) by a predetermined distance, the backrest 3 is swung toward the indoor wall surface 14 (in the direction of the white arrow C) and suspended on the indoor wall surface 14, as shown in FIGS. 3C and 1. Thus, the lower surface 3a of the backrest 3 slightly presses the upper surface 2a of the bed section 2 near the indoor wall surface. In addition, when changing from the sofa usage state (see Figure 4A) to the bed usage state (see Figure 4B), after lifting and swinging the backrest 3, the bed part 2 is pulled out to the front. The lower surface 3a of the backrest 3 is not in contact with the upper surface 2a near the indoor wall surface. Note that when the backrest 3 is suspended at such a height that the upper surface 2a of the bed 2 near the indoor wall is not pressed by the lower surface 3a of the backrest 3, the backrest 3 remains suspended. The side edge portion of the bed portion 2 near the indoor wall surface is moved in and out of the space S between the lower surface 3a of the backrest portion 3 and the indoor floor surface 18 to achieve a desired usage state.

利である。(a) Since the bed and the backrest are made completely separate, the backrest can be manufactured in a shape that best functions as a sofa. That is, it is possible to provide the backrest with the most comfortable height and backrest surface shape for the user. Furthermore, even if the backrest portion becomes somewhat larger, it is separated from the bed portion, making handling such as transportation and movement very convenient.

In other words, the bed can be moved relatively freely on the floor. Therefore, the bed portion can be moved very easily when changing from a sofa to a bed or from a bed to a sofa.

Therefore, when the bed section is pulled out from under the backrest section or inserted into the backrest section, the backrest section never becomes an obstacle, so it is very easy to change the mode of use.
