[Detailed description of the invention] (Technical field to which the invention pertains) The present invention relates to an improvement in the housing structure of a communication device, particularly a wireless communication device. (Conventional technology) Communication equipment is required to be smaller, thinner, and lighter, and it is important to improve the performance and reliability of communication equipment while maintaining ease of assembly and maintenance. It is necessary to ensure that Therefore, in consideration of this point, it is necessary to integrate the parts used in the communication device, reduce the number of parts, and reduce the number of screwed parts. FIG. 1 is an exploded perspective view showing an example of the structure of a conventional communication device housing. This assembly procedure will be explained next.
First, the operation panel 2 is attached to the housing (case) 1 and fixed with screws 8. Next, the printed circuit board 3 on which a wireless circuit is mounted and the metal shield cover 4 for shielding the electric circuit are screwed from above using screws 9 and 10. Next, the front 2
The upper cover 4, which has claws 5a at certain points, is attached to the operation panel 2.
The housing 1 is fixed to the housing 1 with screws 11. Reference numeral 6 denotes a printed circuit board on which a control circuit is mounted, and is screwed onto the housing 1 from below with screws 12. Next, a lower cover 7 is provided with claws 7a at two places like the upper cover, and is fixed to the housing 1 with hook screws 13 that hook the claws onto the operation panel 2. As shown in the example of FIG. 1, the conventional communication device casing structure uses a large number of tightening screws, which makes assembly difficult and does not have good workability. Furthermore, since there is no longitudinal positioning of the upper and lower covers, there is a drawback that a gap is created between the operation panel and the upper and lower covers. (Specific purpose of the invention) This invention was developed to eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks, and it is possible to reduce the number of screws used in communication equipment, ensure the performance and reliability of the equipment, and improve maintenance and workability. It provides an excellent housing structure. (Structure of the invention) An example of a housing structure in which the invention is implemented is shown in FIG. 2. The assembly procedure is as follows. First, the operation panel 15 (same as 2) is attached to the housing 14 and fixed with screws 19. One printed (printed wiring) board 16 is mounted with a communication circuit section such as a wireless section and a control circuit section, and is assembled into a housing 1 with a bottom, both sides, and a back surface formed by die-casting.
4 with screws 20. Next, a metal shield cover 17 for shielding the electric circuit of the printed circuit board 16 is fixed to the housing 14 with screws 21.
A guide 14a for preventing displacement of the upper cover plate 18 is provided at the rear of the housing 14. The upper cover plate 18 is provided with two claws 18a on the front surface, and these claws are hooked onto the operation panel 15 to tighten the screws 22.
Fix it to the housing with the screws. (Operation of the invention) The operation of the invention will be explained using the configuration shown in FIG. FIG. 3 shows a part of a cross-sectional view when a printed circuit board 16 on which a communication circuit and a control circuit are mounted is fixed to the housing 14, and a shield cover 17 and an upper cover plate 18 are screwed onto it. , in this figure, 23a is the shield cover 17 and the housing 1.
Contact portions 4 and 23b indicate gaps between the shield cover 17 and the printed circuit board 16, respectively. Attach the shield cover 17 using screws 21 and 22.
By screwing the shield cover 17 and the housing 14 to the housing, the contact area 2 between the shield cover 17 and the housing 14 is removed due to the gap 23b.
3a to ensure contact and serve as an electrical shield. Incidentally, reference numeral 14a is a guide for preventing positional shift to prevent a gap between the upper cover plate 18 and the operating section 15. (Effects of the Invention) In the communication device having a one-board structure as described above, the upper cover plate 18 can be reliably positioned by providing the guide 14a for preventing positional deviation on the housing 14. One screw 22 that fixes the upper cover plate 18 passes through a screw hole provided in the shield cover 17 and the printed circuit board 16 and is inserted into the housing 14.
The shield cover and printed circuit board are screwed together with the upper cover. By making the screw fastening locations common in this way, the number of screws used can be reduced. (17 screws are used in the example in Figure 1, 10 in the example in Figure 2)
Further, by providing a gap 23b between the shield cover 17 and the printed circuit board 16, it is possible to make sufficiently good contact between the shield cover 17 and the housing 14 when screwed together, and to enhance the shielding effect. 【table】
