This type of conventional Saki joint has a plurality of driving nails that are integrally connected outwardly from both left and right edges of a band-shaped metal plate and are bent at right angles to the same side. They were arranged to face each other in the width direction of the metal plate. With this type of conventional shogi joint, when the two joints are nailed together from both sides of the shim to connect two shims, the thickness of the shim If it is thin, unless both joints are slightly shifted in the lengthwise direction of the wood, the driving claws of both joints will butt into each other, making it impossible to drive the joint completely. or,
This requires a metal plate that is wider than the width of the joint so that the nails can be installed on both the left and right sides, which also has the disadvantage of high material costs.

In FIGS. 1 to 3, reference numerals 1 and 2 are the wooden joints of the present invention, and four driving claws 4a to 4h are provided at both longitudinal ends of a strip metal plate 3, respectively. . Further, ribs 5a and 5b are formed over the entire length on both left and right sides of the band-shaped metal plate 3, and are curved in a direction opposite to the protruding side of the driving claws 4a to 4h.

Each of the driving claws 4a to 4h is attached to the belt-shaped metal plate 3.
The ribs 5a and 5b are arranged in a staggered manner without facing each other in the width direction, and are formed by cutting out and bending between the ribs 5a and 5b. Further, each of the driving claws 4a to 4h is formed in the shape of an arrow, and is provided with a stopper step 6 on both side edges near the tip thereof, and the base portion is continuous with the inner side of the ribs 5a and 5b. Reference numeral 7 indicates a cutout hole formed by the bending marks of each of the driving claws 4a to 4h. As shown in FIG. 4, the cutout hole 7 has a portion 7a corresponding to the tip 8 including the stopper step 6 of the driving nails 4a to 4h, forming a cutting space 9 between the tip 8 and the tip 8. It is formed to be wide.

Saki joints 1 and 2 configured as above
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the nails 4a to 4h are driven in from both sides between two pieces of wood 10 and 11 whose ends are butted against each other. Both sides of trees 10 and 11 1
It is possible to connect both the wooden blocks 10 and 11 so that 0a, 11a and 10b, 11b are flush with each other.
At this time, since the driving pawls 4a to 4h of each Saki joint 1 and 2 are arranged in a staggered manner, the second
As shown in the figure, the driving pawls 4a to 4h of each joint 1, 2 can be used without shifting the positions of the joints 1, 2 that sandwich the wooden blocks 10, 11 from each other in the length direction.
The points do not face each other, and there is a discrepancy in the width direction.

In addition, when hitting the joints 1 and 2 with a hammer, it is desirable to hit the upper ends of each of the driving claws 4a to 4h directly downward, but especially to the upper ends of each of the driving claws 4a to 4h.
Even if you do not hit the upper end of 4h, rib 5
The presence of a and 5b allows the hammer to hit the rib 5.
There is a very high possibility that you will hit a or 5b. Therefore, the striking force of the hammer is likely to act almost directly downward on each of the driving claws 4a to 4h via the ribs 5a and 5b, and the driving claws 4a to 4h are driven perpendicularly to the wooden blocks 10 and 11 without bending. It is easy to do.

Furthermore, since it is not possible to hammer the entire surfaces of joints 1 and 2 at the same time, the driving claws at either end, for example 4a to 4d, are driven to some extent first, and then the other driving claws 4e to 4h are driven in.
However, at this time, there is a high possibility that the previously driven nails 4a to 4d will come off due to reaction. However, since each of the driving nails 4a to 4h is provided with a stopper step 6 on the side edge near the tip, the driving nail driven in first will not come off due to reaction.

FIG. 5 shows an example in which the pointed ends 8 of the driving claws 4a to 4h are further pressed in the thickness direction to form a knife edge shape. By processing in this way, driving the driving nails 4a to 4h can be made easier, but as shown in FIG.
When a cutting space 9 is provided between the arrow-shaped pointed end 8 including the stepped portion 6, not only can cutting of the pointed end 8 be easily performed without straining the cutting blade, but also It is also possible to further press the pointed end 8 to form a knife edge without any difficulty.

The Saki joint of the present invention can be implemented as described above, and its feature is that the Saki joint is provided with a plurality of driving claws protruding on the same side at least at both ends of the band-shaped metal plate. The driving claws are arranged in a staggered manner rather than facing each other in the width direction of the band-shaped metal plate, and are cut out and bent from the inside of the band-shaped metal plate.

According to this configuration of the present invention, when driving two joints so as to sandwich the wood from both sides as described above, the points of the driving claws of both joints can be easily aligned without shifting the position of the joints in the length direction. Since the nails do not face each other and are inconsistent with each other in the width direction, even if the thickness of the wood is thin, the nails can be driven securely without hitting each other.

In addition, since it can be formed with almost no material loss using a band-shaped metal plate with a width that is approximately equal to the width of the joint, it is less expensive than a joint that has driving claws bent from both edges of the band-shaped metal plate. It can be manufactured. Moreover, the driving nail can be given a sufficient length close to the width of the joint, and a joint with high connection strength can be obtained.
