【考案の詳細な説明】 本考案は電話用保安装置に用いる避雷器に関す
る。

フエール・セーフ性を重視した炭素避雷器が使用
されている。この炭素避雷器は、炭素電極を対向

用保安装置に取付けていたが、所定の放電開始電
圧を得るために放電間隙を非常に狭めていたの
で、雷サージの印加により放電面に放電痕を生
じ、放電間隙を変化させてシヨートし易くなり、
雷の多い時期の保守の稼動が問題となつていた。
そのために、円筒絶縁管の両端開口部を金属電極
で封着し放電を誘発するガスを内部に封入して放
電間隙を広く設定し、長寿命で放電特性の良いガ
ス入避雷素子が使用されるようになつてきた。し
かしながら、このガス入避雷素子は、上記炭素避
雷器とは外形が相違し、炭素避雷器のようにその
上面に長溝を有していないので、容易に実公昭54
−31295号や実開昭51−128230号の如き既存の電
話用保安装置に挿入できない等の欠点があつた。

て略矩形板状に成型した上部電極を差込む構造と
したものであつて、ケースと上部電極の構造を簡
略化し、電話用保安装置に確実に取付け、且つ容
易に取外し交換でき、組立作業が容易で繰返し使
用できるようにしたことを目的とするものであ
る。以下、本考案を図示する一実施例に基いて説
明する。
