なければ、植付けた苗の均等な発育を促すことは
出来ない。而して、従来は施肥管先端の位置決め
用具として単一の板状ゲージが用いられ、該ゲー
ジの上辺をフロートの底面に当接させ、ゲージ面
の凹凸などに施肥管の先端を合せて施肥管を調節
するようなされていたが、このようなゲージで
は、フロートの底面にゲージの上辺を当接させた
際、フロートによつてその巾が異つており、左右
の関係位置は目測によつて定めねばならぬから極
めて不便であり、また該ゲージは単にフロートに
当接させるだけであるから、その支持が不確実で
適正なゲージ作用が得られない欠点があつた。

のみ摺動可能として、施肥管の位置決め時に前記
フロートに嵌合着脱自在となるよう構成したの
で、施肥管の位置決めを行う際に、ゲージ部材は
その係止部によりフロートのリブに確実に支承さ
れ、又はその抱持部によりフロートの側面に確実
に支承されるものであるから、ゲージ面は前後左
右に揺れ動くことなく、従つて施肥管の先端位置
が極めて正確に設定出来るものであり乍ら、ゲー
ジ部材の各側縁に、形状の異なるフロートに夫々
対応する複数のゲージが形成されているから、一
個のゲージをして確実に所期の目的を達成するこ
とができ、作業能率の向上に格別の効果を奏する
ものである。又フロートはその成形上、合せ型で
は必然的に上下接合用のリブが形成されるため、
このリブを利用し、又リブが形成されないタイプ
のフロートであつてもそのフロートの側面を利用
してゲージを安定確実に取付けることが出来るか
ら、ゲージの取付構成が極めて簡単になると共
に、従来のフロートにそのまま使用できる等の実
用的効果を奏するものである。
