(関連産業分野) 本考案は例えば金型冷却水の給水口に付けるこ
とができる流量確認可能な管継手に関するもので
ある。 (従来技術) 例えば金型の如く、冷却水を供給して冷却され
るものに対しては、1本の供給本管によつて供給
される冷却水が支管によつて複数個所へ分散供給
されるようになつているが、冷却水の流量は常に
検知できるものでなければならない。このような
要求に応じる方法として、給水用の供給本管にバ
ルブと流量計もしくは圧力計を1個宛備えたマニ
ホールドを連結し、マニホールドに連結した複数
本のホースの他端を金の所要個所へ連結してい
た。この場合、マニホールドの位置が成型機や鋳
造機などから離れた位置にあつて、冷却水の流量
を随時確認することができないばかりでなく、従
来は流量調整を1個所で行なう構造であるから、
温度条件の異なる金型各部を同一条件で冷却する
ことになり、これが冷却不充分な個所の発生原因
になつていた。 (考案が解決しようとする課題) 上記従来技術によると、冷却水の流量管理を充
分に行うことができなかつた点に鑑み、給水口ご
とに流量の確認ができ、また流量調整が容易にで
きるようにしようとするものである。 (考案の解決手段) 雌雄ねじ、プラグ等の適宜の接続部を本体の端
部とアダプタに有する管継手であつて、一方の接
続部を持つ本体には、同本体の軸心部に設けた通
液孔を開閉するコツク状バルブを設けると共に、
他方の接続部を持つアダプタに向き合せて、基部
に前記通液孔と連続する通液孔を外周面部に貫通
させて有し、先部に先細のテーパー軸部を有する
延長部を設けて、該テーパー軸部の先端部をアダ
プタの前記他方の接続部の軸心部に嵌合し、更
に、前記本体とアダプタとの間に挾持させて、前
記先細テーパー軸部が透視可能な透明外管を液密
状態に一体に設けると共に、該先細テーパー軸部
外周には圧縮スプリングで同軸の大径側に付勢さ
せて、リング状インジケータを軸方向に移動可能
に嵌合し、これにより流量の確難を可能にしたも
のである。 (考案の実施例) 第1図と第2図は本考案の第1実施例を示すも
ので本体1は六角頭部1aとこれと一体の先細延

着したような場合でも、それをたゞちに確認で
き、ねじを外すことによつて、確認窓である透明

の開度で流量を知ることができるだけでなく、透
明外筒を洗えば、流体の流れをいつでも目視する
ことができ、安全かつ確実に冷却水等の供給調整
