Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 従来の汎用エンジンの気化器の構造を第1図に
ついて説明する。汎用エンジンは多用途に使用さ
れ、作業機によつては第1図に示すようにエアク
リーナ1がアウタエアベント式気化器3から遠く
離れて設置され長蛇管2で結ばれているものがあ
る。気化器3の仕様が一定の場合、長蛇管2を採
用すると、採用しない場合に比べ気化器3の空燃
比特性が薄くなり、エンジン不調を起す。したが
つて長蛇管2を採用しても空燃比特性が適正にな
るよう主ジエツト4、主空気ジエツト5の両者或
は一方を変更して気化器流量調整試験を行つてい
る。その気化器調整試験に多くの時間を要するの
が欠点であつた。6は接手、7はブリーザパイプ
でエンジンのクランクケース(図示せず)と接続
している。

ントと、(ニ)前記出口通路端面に配設された吹き返
し防止板とより構成される接手を設けたことを特
徴とする気化器に係り、開発試験時間が大幅に短
縮される気化器を提供しようとするもので、小型
汎用エンジン全般に応用できるものである。

るような板に適当な穴を明けたもの)である。1
6は接手でエレメント11の位置決め用に段差が
ついており、また吹き返し防止板12を気化器3
との間に設定すべく位置決め段差がついている。
すなわち接手16にはその上流側に通路断面積を
絞つた入口通路16−1が形成されており、この
後に段差をつけて通路断面積が入口16−1より
大きい出口通路16−2が続く。この出口通路1
6−2内に、一様に分布する発泡多孔体より成る
通気抵抗調整用エレメント11が収容されてい
る。吹き返し防止板12はエレメント11の流出
防止の役も果たしている。

長蛇管2を採用しない場合に近づく。
