Visors are attached to both sides of a car, and are attached to the roof gutter, the top of the door glass run, etc., and are used as sunshades,
It is used to protect against rain and to prevent wind from blowing in. However, the effect is contrary to expectations and is not satisfactory. That is, in consideration of safety during driving, it is desirable to minimize the protruding area of the eaves body, and conversely, a larger protruding area is more effective in achieving the function of the visor. Conventional visors are designed to have a small protruding area with emphasis on safety, so if the doors or windows are opened during rain, for example, rainwater will fall into the interior of the vehicle, making them of little use.

Therefore, in order to improve the visor function while still ensuring sufficient safety as in the past, the present invention is designed so that the side end portion of the horizontal part of the eaves body can be bent downward, and a door is placed inside the side end portion. An engaging piece is provided to contact and engage with the frame, and the side end portion can be bent in conjunction with opening and closing of the door.

The drawing shows the automobile visor of the present invention, in which a main body 1 having a substantially rectangular shape is attached via a mounting bracket 2 along the roof side and a window glass mounting frame using a rain gutter. It is something. The main body 1
The side end 3a of the horizontal eave body 3 is bent by a hinge 4, and a leaf spring 5 is attached together with the hinge 4 at the bending position, and the leaf spring 5 is held in both states of bending operation. It is formed to be click-supported by. An engaging piece 6 is provided on the inside of the side end 3a, and when the visor is attached to the car, the engaging piece 6 comes into engagement contact with the upper end of the door frame M, and is linked to the opening and closing of the door. The side end portion 3a performs the bending operation.

By attaching the visor of this embodiment to a car, when the door is closed, the side end portion of the eave hangs downward, reducing the protrusion to the left and right, and at the same time, the side end portion of the eave hangs downward from the side. This not only blocks the sun's rays but also prevents rainwater from falling. Therefore, when driving, the visor function is not fully demonstrated,
Safety can also be ensured. When the door is opened, the engaging piece engages with the upper end of the frame, and as the door is opened, the side edge of the eaves is flipped up, so it does not get in the way of getting on and off. Moreover, the area of the eaves becomes larger, which provides more rain protection. This means that you don't have to get wet even when getting on and off during rainy weather. In this way, the bending operation of the side end is linked to the opening and closing of the door by means of the engagement piece, so handling is no different from that of conventional visors. The visor of this embodiment is click-supported by leaf springs at both bending positions, so when the engaging piece comes into contact with the door frame and bends, the visor snaps and either hangs down or flips up. Because it is supported in this state, it does not fall into a halfway state and can maintain that state even when it is blown by strong winds.

Note that the bendable side end portions may be created by processing a large eaves portion formed in advance, or by combining parts formed separately from the eaves portion.

As described above, according to the present invention, by opening and closing the door, the visor changes to a form suitable for driving and getting on and off, so the practical benefits obtained by installing the visor of the present invention are great. .
