The above-mentioned four-wheeled curtain runner is used as a runner for pulling curtain strings, a runner for transporting heavy objects on rails, etc., but when installed on a curved rail, the axle crosses the rail obliquely, and the plate of the runner body is long. As a result, the front and rear portions come into contact with the rail groove edge, creating resistance to running. In order to prevent this, some runners have a bent part in the center of the runner body, but when running on a straight section of the rail, the bent part is unstable and creates resistance, and the structure is complicated, which increases manufacturing costs. could not be avoided.

This proposal aims to provide a low-cost runner that has a simple structure and can run smoothly on both straight and curved rails. To explain its configuration with reference to drawings, Figure 1 is a front view of the curtain runner of this invention. 2 is a bottom view, FIG. 3 is a side view, and FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view taken along the line A--A in FIG. 1.

In the drawing, reference numeral 1 denotes a vertically elongated upright plate serving as the runner body, and a longitudinally elongated receiving hole 2 is formed at the front and rear of the plate, into which an axle 3 with a wheel 4 attached at the left and right ends is loosely fitted. At the same time, the portion facing the rail longitudinal groove edge at the front and rear sides of one side of the upright plate 1 is cut off obliquely to form a sloped recess 5. In the figure, 11 indicates a curved rail into which the curtain runner of the present invention is fitted, and 12 indicates a vertical groove edge of the rail.

Next, to explain the function and effect of the present invention, when the curtain runner of the present invention reaches a curved part of the rail, the front and rear axles 3 are tilted and held in a position intersecting the rail running path as shown in Fig. 3. Therefore, the left and right cars 4 run smoothly on the rails, and
The front and rear ends of one side of the upright plate 1 are the longitudinal groove edge 1 on the outside of the curve.
2, but since the sloped recess 5 is formed in the opposing part, the side surface of the upright plate will not collide with or be pressed against the groove edge, thereby preventing running from being hindered.

In addition, in the straight section of the rail, the front and rear axles are supported by the rear ends of the respective receiving holes and are held at regular positions perpendicular to the direction of travel, allowing the rail to run smoothly.

The curtain runner of this invention not only has a much simpler structure and can be produced at a lower cost than the known runner with a bent part in the center of an upright plate, but also can run smoothly on both straight and curved sections of the rail.
There is an effect that there is no possibility of the drawstring being caught on the bending part during use and causing a malfunction.
