本考案は、パソコン用デイスプレイ兼用テレビ

の手動スイツチで、1はテレビ複合映像信号を原
色信号(赤、緑、青の情報を含む各信号)に変換
するクロマ回路、3はブラウン管を駆動するため
のビデオ出力回路、4はテレビ複合映像信号から
垂直及び水平同期信号を抽出する同期期分離回
路、6はブラウン管の画像の同期を合わせるため
の同期回路、7はパソコンの原色信号発生回路、
8はパソコンの同期信号発生回路である。このパ
ソコン用デイスプレイ兼用テレビによれば、テレ
ビ側に設けられたスイツチ2及び5を切り換える
ことによりテレビ又はパソコン用デイスプレイと
して用いることが出来る。しかし、スイツチを切
り換えるためには、その都度、テレビ側に設けら
れているスイツチを操作する必要があるため、操
作性の点で難点があつた。更に、パソコン、デイ
スプレイ兼用テレビに使用される21ピンマルチコ
ネクタでは、映像同期信号入力端は同期分離回路
の入力に接続されるため、第1図の様に同期回路
に直接外部同期信号を入力することは困難であつ
た。

いて、テレビ側の回路は、外部原色信号入力端子

に切り換えるスイツチ、スイツチ10はテレビ又
は外部の複合映像信号を選択するスイツチで、1
は選択した複合映像信号を原色信号に変換するク
ロマ回路、9は選択した複合映像信号から垂直及
び水平同期信号を抽出する同期分離回路、3はブ
ラウン管を駆動するためのビデオ出力回路、6は
ブラウン管の画像の同期を合わせるための同期回
路である。一方パソコン側はスイツチ2,10を
制御するスイツチ制御回路12、及びパソコンの
同期信号発生回路8、原色信号発生回路7、これ
らの同期信号及び原色信号を用いてパソコン複合
映像信号を作る信号変換回路11、で構成され
る。ここでスイツチ制御回路12は、テレビ機能
を選択する場合はスイツチ10をテレビ複合映像
信号側、スイツチ2をクロマ回路1の出力側に切
り換え、パソコン用デイスプレイ機能を選択する
場合はスイツチ10をパソコン複合映像信号側、
スイツチ2をパソコン原色信号発生回路側に切り
換える。本実施例によれば、パソコンからの操作
により容易にテレビ側の機能の切り換えが出来
る。尚、パソコン用デイスプレイ機能を選択した
時、スイツチ2をクロマ回路1の出力側に切り換
えてもブラウン管にパソコン画像を表示できる
が、この場合、パソコン原色信号は、信号変換回
路11及びクロマ回路1を経由するため通常、解
像度等の性能が劣化するため得策ではない。
