(Prior art) A metal core is embedded in the temple body that forms the outer shape of a spectacle temple8.
When displaying letters or patterns on the surface of a spectacle temple, conventionally, as shown in Figs. This was done by fitting the formed decorative body C into a fitting recess e formed in the temple body d and fixing it with adhesive. Alternatively, as shown in FIG. 1O, a decorative body C with letters or patterns attached by printing or the like is fitted into a fitting recess e formed in the temple body d, and the upper surface of the decorative body in the fitting recess e is A transparent epoxy resin g is applied to the recess f formed in the part.
The main body d is filled with resin, and the decorative body C is hung by curing the resin.
This was done by sticking to the Alternatively, this has been achieved by directly adhesively fixing the decorative body to the threaded part of the temple surface, or by stamping or printing characters or patterns on the threaded part of the temple surface.

(Problem to be Solved by the Invention) However, in the case of fitting and fixing the decorative body C into the fitting recess e, forming the fitting recess e, filling the resin, and curing the filled resin, etc. This has the problem of requiring time and effort, resulting in poor work efficiency, and thus resulting in an increase in production costs. In addition, not only the letters and patterns but also the surface of the pedestal that holds the letters and patterns appear on the surface of the eyeglass temple, resulting in the problem of weakening the impression of the letters and patterns. . Furthermore, the decorative body C, which is adhesively fixed to the fitting recess e or fixed by filling resin, is not completely integrated with the metal core (see Figures 9 and 10), so the spectacle temple is bent. There was also a risk that the decorative body C would peel off when processing to form an ear hook. Furthermore, even if it does not peel off, there is a problem in that the partially generated fftlJjl1 part spoils the appearance of the text and pattern parts. Such a problem is that while small character pieces or pattern pieces (for example, rAJ rBJ rCJ character pieces) are manufactured separately from the pedestal, fine fittings matching the shape of each of these character pieces, etc. are produced. Insertion grooves are carved into the temple surface, and then corresponding letter pieces, etc. are fitted and fixed into each of the fitting grooves, so that only the letter pieces or pattern pieces appear on the spectacle temple surface. At first glance, it seems as if the problem can be solved by doing something. However, it is extremely difficult to carve such a fitting groove with precision, and even if a fitting groove is formed, it is very difficult to fit small pieces of letters etc. into the fine fitting groove. It can be said that it is virtually impossible to display only a letter piece or a pattern piece on the surface of the temple by the method described above, since it is difficult to do so.

In addition, when the decorative body is directly adhesively fixed to the surface of the spectacle temple, as in the case where the decorative body is fixed to the fitting recess, not only the surface of the pedestal other than the letters and patterns will be exposed, but also the wall thickness will be reduced. Since the pedestal itself is exposed, there is a problem in that it is not possible to form good-looking letters and patterns, and in addition, the decorative body is more likely to peel off because the entire pedestal is exposed. There was also.

Furthermore, in each of the above-mentioned cases, when a recess is formed in the character portion or the pattern, there is also the problem that dirt adheres to the recess, impairing the cleanliness of the glasses.

(Means for Solving the Problems) A method for displaying letters and patterns on a thoughtful glasses temple according to the present invention (hereinafter referred to as a method) includes forming letters and patterns consisting of protrusions integrally on the surface of the pedestal piece 7. After brazing the decorative body 1 having the concave and convex portions 10 on the back surface of the decorative body 1 to the required portions of the front surface or the back surface of the core metal 2, the core metal 2 is
The decorative body 1 is embedded in a temple body 12 having the outer shape of a temple of spectacles, and then, by cutting a portion of the temple body 12 that faces the decorative body concavo-convex portion 10, the concavo-convex portion 10 is removed. The tip portion 16 of the protrusion is cut off, thereby making characters or patterns made up of protrusions appear on the surface of the temple.

(2) In the present invention, since the decorative body is brazed to the metal core, the letters and patterns formed by cutting the temple body are completely integrated with the glasses temple. Therefore, unlike the conventional case where the decorative body is fixed with adhesive, there is no risk of the decorative body peeling off even when the ear hook is formed by bending the temple of the spectacles. Characters and patterns can be made with excellent stability.

■ In the present invention, the tip of the protrusion of the uneven portion is removed by leaving the core metal and the decorative body embedded in the temple body that forms the outer shape of the temple of glasses, and cutting the part facing the decorative body. I am planning to do so. Therefore, unlike the conventional case where a decorative body having a concavo-convex portion formed in a concave part formed on the surface of a spectacle temple is fitted and fixed,
Because it is possible to display only the desired characters and patterns,
The characters and patterns make a strong impression on the viewer and become a scale.

Also, since the characters and patterns are revealed by cutting, the characters and patterns are flush with the surface of the temple. Therefore, unlike the conventional case where a decorative body with uneven parts is fitted into a recess or stamped to reveal letters or patterns, dirt may adhere to the letters or patterns, making it difficult to clean the glasses. There is no problem of loss of feeling. Also, unlike when printing characters or patterns, there is no risk of the characters etc. being worn out.

■ In the present invention, after a simple pre-process of brazing the decorative body to the core metal, the core metal with the decorative body formed in this way is embedded in the main body of the vine through the same process as before. The desired letters and patterns can be made to appear by simply cutting the part of the vine body that faces the uneven parts of the decorative body, making the overall work more efficient. Furthermore, characters and patterns can be formed at low cost.
