In this semi-dry development process, the developer components are alkaline components (e.g., organic bases such as monoethanolamine, jetanolamine, and triethanolamine, and inorganic alkalis such as potassium metaborate and potassium carbonate) and organic solvents (e.g., Add a small amount (usually 5 q/metre or less) of an alkaline developer whose main solvent is a polyhydric alcohol (such as ethylene glycol, ethylene glycol monomethyl ether, or its ether) to the copying material.
This method involves coating and developing.

This phenomenon is called "whitening."

A range of 6 is preferred. When the range of the copolymerization ratio and the range of the number of carbon atoms in the ester group of the acrylic ester are within the above-mentioned ranges, the effect of preventing the "whitening" phenomenon is excellent and the deterioration of fading property is small as a semi-dry diazo copying material, which is preferable.

Auxiliary additives such as waxes are used, and these can be the same as those conventionally used in precoat layers. Further, although it is essential to use a vinyl chloride-acrylic acid ester copolymer resin as a binder, other hydrophilic resins such as polyvinyl alcohol, starch, and casein can be used as auxiliary binders.
