Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a self-propelled device for wagons needing a small installation area, which is separatable from a wagon when not used, connectable easily when needed, and can be set properly at the ground position of a driving wheel by putting a driving mechanism together in a longitudinal direction and providing a lifting mechanism to move a driving wheel up and down and a jointing mechanism with the wagon. CONSTITUTION:A vertical drive-shaft 2 is inserted in a cover cylinder 21 possible to be rotated and to be operated to move up and down by a lifting mechanisms 41-44. A driving wheel 3 is mounted to an axle 22 linked to a gear box G at the lower end of the drive-shaft 2. The lifting mechanisms to move the drive- shaft 2 and the driving wheel 3 up and down with respect to a chassis 1 connect by a toggle joint the links 41, 41 pivoted on the side of the chassis 1 with the links 42, 42 pivoted on the side of the drive-shaft 2, and move them up and down by turning a handle 44 through a screw rod 43. An output shaft of a motor 5 is connected to the drive-shaft 2 through the gear boxes 51a, 51b while jointing mechanisms 61, 62 detachably connect the chassis 1 with the wagon W.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] (Industrial Application Field) The present invention relates to a self-propelled wagon device, and more specifically, the present invention relates to a self-propelled wagon device that is used for transportation work by manual (hand-pushing or hand-pulling) operation in hospitals and the like. This relates to a new device that can be easily connected to a wagon and operated on its own, and is used to administer medicines (including medical materials such as bandages, 11 guns, and scalpels; hereinafter the same applies) and meals at hospitals, etc. It is very useful in reducing the labor involved in operating wagons for transporting such items.

[Prior art and technical issues to be solved] As is well known, in large hospitals that accommodate a large number of inpatients, IV bottles, ampoules, and other medicines are transported all at once to administer to patients in each ward. The amount of medicines is also very large, and the reality is that the wagons loaded with these medicines are usually transported to each patient's hospital room by a woman (nurse) pushing and pulling them by hand.

However, although hospital corridors and communication routes between wards are constructed to be level-free so as not to impede the quick and smooth movement of stretchers carrying rescue patients, they are not necessarily level. It is not always level, and there are quite a few places where there are quite long slopes, albeit gentle. Therefore, it cannot be denied that the transport work carried out in wagons, which was a part of women's daily work, was hard work even for energetic young nurses, and was a cause of overwork. Furthermore, since the same situation applies to the transportation of meals, there was a need for improvement as it was a labor management problem that affected all hospital workers.

Therefore, in order to meet such demands, the inventor of the present invention has conducted various prototype experiments in order to commercialize a self-propelled wagon by incorporating a drive mechanism such as a motor into the wagon itself that performs the above-mentioned work. I tried this, but - if I were to equip a single wagon with self-propulsion capability, the manufacturing cost of the wagon would dramatically increase, and I would not be able to get the same amount of product as before. If you try to secure enough volume, the weight and body size of the wagon itself will increase, which is not welcomed at all in hospitals where space saving is required for reasons such as smooth and safe passage and easy storage. As a result, we decided to abandon commercialization of the product.

The present invention was developed based on the experience gained from the failed prototype test of self-propelled wagons, and was developed to meet the demands of hospitals and other facilities to reduce the labor involved in administering medicines and transporting meals. At times, it can be separated from the wagon and kept on standby, and when it becomes necessary to use the wagon to transport medicines, meals, etc., it can be easily connected to the wagon and operated in a self-propelled manner. The technical challenge is to provide a practical self-propelled device that can.

の経済的操行を行なえる。
As described above, according to the present invention, the work of transporting medicines and meals in hospitals, etc., which was conventionally considered hard labor, can be extremely streamlined, and since the self-propelled device can be attached and detached very easily, it is possible to use the self-propelled device when it returns home. Since it is possible to reconnect to a wagon waiting to be loaded and make a turnaround, the wagon can be operated economically with a minimum number of vehicles.
