Abstract
Description
本発明はカウンター(調理台、配膳台等)の改良に関す
るものであり、特に詳しくは耐擦傷性に優れたカウンタ

カウンター、例えば調理台は囲板を乗せて作業する部位
が特に傷つき易い傾向にある。これは木または高分子樹
脂製の囲板の他にもアルミニウム、銅または鉄と云った
金属製のやかんとか鍋を置くことがあるためである。高
分子樹脂製の人造大理石等からなる調理台は外観が奇麗
であるが、素材が高分子樹脂であるために、特に傷つき
易い傾向にある。したがって、最近ではシリカ質のフィ
ラーを加えて硬度を高めたり、ハードコート材を表面に
塗布する等の工夫がなされている。また、従来からある
ステンレス鋼製の調理台においても、死板を乗せる部位
のみにエンボス加工を施して傷を目立ち難くする等の工

性の著しい低下は避けられるが、ハードコート材の硬度
が未だ6〜7H1,かないために塗布しても十分な耐擦
傷性が得られない。また、−旦傷つくと補修が困難であ

硬度部材を突出して設けたことを特徴とする耐擦傷性に

つぎに本発明を図示の一実施例に基づいて詳細に説明す
る。
図中1は流し2とガス台3の間に一体に設けられたカウ
ンター(IR理台)であって、アクリル樹脂をバインダ
ー樹脂として成形した人造大理石11の表面に多数の高
硬度部材(例えばアルミナ系セラミックス)12が幾何
学模様を描いて、頭部を1■■突出して5■lの深さに
埋め込まれている。
高硬度部材12は扁平な形状(例えば厚さ6璽會、幅2
■■、長さ22mm)に形成され、その端面を外部に露
出して人造大理石11に直角に埋め込まれている。実施
例に示した人造大理石11の表面積に対する高硬度部材
12の面積比率は7:1である。
高硬度部材12としてはカウンター1が木または高分子
樹脂製の翅板の他にも、前記したように金属製のやかん
とか鍋を乗せることがあるので、このような場合にも人
造大理石11が傷つき難いように硬度の大きい七うッミ
ックスまたはガラスを固形(例えば板状または棒状等)
の形態で頭部を突出して埋め込んだり嵌め込むか、ある
いはシリカ粉末等の高硬度フリットからなる塗料または
成形樹脂を用いて人造大理石11の表面に印刷、塗装、
または注入等の技術によって設ける。高硬度フリットを
使用する場合には10〜300ffiffi部の範囲で
添加して使用するとよい。
高硬度部材12の人造大理石11への配設は、実施例に
おいて面積比率が7:1、突出量1■冒の例を示したが
、面積比率は80:1から4:1の範囲で調節すること
ができ、人造大理石11の表面から突出させる高さは0
.1〜3■lの範囲が好ましい。突出量が0.1ww未
滴では高硬度部材12の面積比率を高めても人造大理石
11の表面を傷つけることが避けられず、3wwを越え
て突出させると表面の凹凸が激しくなって使用し難い上
に汚れが付き易くなるので好ましくない。したがって、
高硬度部材12は0.1〜31嘗の範囲で突出させる必
要がある。なお、高硬度部材12は規則的に配置しても
良いし、不規則に配置することもできるが、高硬度部材
12同士は15龍以上離さないほうが人造大理石11の
表面を保護する上で好ましい。
ところで、高硬度部材12を突出して設けた人造大理石
11はガラス繊維強化プラスチック(FRP)、メラミ

に製作することができる。加えて本体の素材としては実
施例に示した人造大理石の他、ガラス繊維強化プラスチ
ック(FRP) 、メラミン樹脂、ステンレス鋼等であ
っても耐擦傷性に優れたカウンターとすることができる
ので適用範囲は極めて広い。
さらに、高硬度部材の形状と配置を工夫することによっ
