Abstract

PURPOSE: To accurately regulate the temp. of a dense sheet regardless of the thickness or thermal conduction coefficient of the sheet by adjusting the stagnation time of the dense sheet in heated laminating rolls. CONSTITUTION: A laminating gap 3 is formed between heated laminating rolls 1, 2 and a foamed polystyrol web 4 runs into this laminating rolls. Dense (not foamed) polystyrol webs 5, 6 are laminated on both surfaces of the web 4 within the gap 3. Therefore, the preliminarily extruded polystyrol web 6 is guided to the laminating roll 1 through an upper guide roll 7.
