Abstract
PURPOSE: To make it possible to prevent window surface from being subjected to scratches due to hard minute dust particles contained in dirt by preparing rollers in engaging contact with cam joints on the upper and lower sides of a window glass, and by giving turning movement to a guide axle by means of the engaging contact of the rollers with the cam joints.
CONSTITUTION: Guides 3, 3 are placed in parallel with a window glass, and a guide axle 6 is hung transversely on sliders 5, 5 that allow the said guides 3 to slide. Cam joints 12, 12 are fixed to the guide axle 6, and the rollers 26 that make engaging contact with the cam joints 12 are placed on the upper and lower sides of the window glass 30 in such a way that engagement between the rollers with the cam joints 12 allows the guide axle 6 to make turning movement. This conformation allows a wiper brush 11 to make a firm contact with the surface of the window glass 30, the wiper brush 11 to slant in association with the turning movement of the guide axle 6, so that the brush 11d part can be separated from the glass window 30, and the brush 11d part can make contact with the surface of the window glass 30 for cleaning only when the brush is moved in downward direction L.
