Abstract

PURPOSE:To grip securely without being slipped even in case of light grasping and to protect the palm of a hand or a glove by attaching a sponge-shaped piece to a part, to which grasping power is loaded in a condition to grasp an object. CONSTITUTION:Glove main bodies 1 and 1' for golf are made of cowhide, ram skin or synthetic leather. Then, thumb parts 2 and 2', other four fingers parts 3 and 3' and wrist parts 4 and 4' are wholly made of the same material as the main body. A sponge piece 5 of a large area and a sponge piece 6 of a small area are attached to a back side to correspond to the palm of the hand with a suitable interval. Sponge pieces 7 and 8 of the small area are attached to root of thumbs and other four fingers. These sponge pieces 5-8 are wholly arranged in the part, to which the grasping power is loaded when the handle of a club is grasped. Then, those sponge pieces are the synthetic resin sponge such as polyurethane rubber foam, etc. The thickness of the sponge is at degree of 1.5mm and the sponge is adhered with adhesive before sewing.

The surface of modern club grips is made of synthetic leather, which becomes slippery after repeated use and becomes slippery when gripped with gloves on. In order to avoid slipping, you must apply a strong grip, but this puts pressure on your shoulders and can easily cause fatigue. Also, blisters and calluses develop on the palms of the hands due to strong rubbing through the gloves.

Gloves also have a problem in that the parts that require a lot of grip, especially the parts that hit the palms and pads of the thumbs, tend to wear out quickly and become punctured.

[Means for Solving the Problem] In order to achieve the above object, the glove of the present invention has a sponge-like structure on the back surface (inner surface) of the glove where grip force is applied when gripping an object while wearing the glove. This can be achieved by gluing the pieces together.

[Function] When gripping an object, the sponge-like piece becomes a flexible elastic body at the part where the grip force is applied, bringing the glove into close contact with the surface of the object and doubling the grip force. As a result, a sufficient grip can be obtained even when gripping with a weaker force than usual, and the palm and the fabric of the glove body can be protected at the same time without slipping.
