割れるおそれもあつた。

なされて体裁が良く、別途これに美粧用のカバー
等を施せる必要がないのはもとより、支持基板に
は、その芯板の成形時に強度保持のために必須と
する補強リブ10aのほか、所要の背もたれ支持
杆嵌合用凹所や、更には弾褥板取付用の嵌合孔等
を任意に作出形成しておくことが可能であるか
ら、椅子の組立時の工数の削減を可能にしつゝ、
背もたれ支持杆等をはめ込み状態に取付けて、そ
れらの取付部材が外部に突出することのない体裁
の良い状態に組立て得るものとすることができ
る。更には、支持基板はモールド成形により、芯
板と被覆層とを一体のものとして簡易に製作でき
ると共に、被覆層の有する弾性により外部から衝
撃を受けても容易に破損するおそれがなく、かつ
被覆層の存在によつて外観的に重厚な感じを与え
て愈々体裁の良い座や背もたれを備えた椅子を比
較的廉価に製作提供しうる利点がある。
