、人体の皮膚に噴霧あるいは塗布されている。また、特
開昭58−73008に記載されている如く、ジエチル
トルアミドがゴキブリに対して忌避効果を有することも
知られている他、ダニ、アリ等の幅広い害虫に対して忌
避効果を有することは周知の事実である。N,N-diethyl-m-toluamide (hereinafter abbreviated as diethyltoluamide) has traditionally been used as an active ingredient in insect repellents against blood-sucking insects such as mosquitoes, horseflies, and gnats, and is used in aerosols, lotions, creams, etc. It is formulated and sprayed or applied to the human skin. ジエチルトルアミドは、そのままチリダニ、コナダニ等
の屋内のダニの殺ダニ剤として使用することもできるが

、必要な場合には更に乳化剤、展着剤、安定剤等を加え
て、油剤、乳剤、エアゾール剤などの剤型で散布、噴霧
して使用できる他、樹脂に練り混んだり、紙、不織布、
樹脂シート、布、綿などに含浸、塗布、付着して防虫シ
ート、防虫テープ、樹脂蒸散剤、防虫綿等の形で使用す
る事もできる。また、ジエチルトルアミドを内包するマ
イクロカプセル剤に製剤後、上記の各種剤型とすること

した。乾燥後すぐに、各シートの表面にケナガコナダニ
とコナヒヨウヒダニがそれぞれ500頭生存する培地を
