Abstract
PURPOSE:To achieve the perfect unbond up to the screw part of the contact part with concrete and to provide no heat-shrinkable tube at the unbond unnecessary part of the screw part, by a method wherein the heat-shrinkable tube is external fitted to a PC steel rod to be temporarily welded at the position of the screw part of the end part thereof and the whole is subsequently shrink under heating. CONSTITUTION:The length l1' of a heat-shrinkable tube 2 through which a PC steel rod 1 is inserted is, for example, 1,900mm and made longer by 30mm than the length l1 of a final product. This heat-shrinkable tube 2 is positioned so that the length l4 from the left end part of the PC steel rod 1 is 85mm and the length l5 from the right end part thereof is 15mm. Next, the heat-shrinkable tubes A, B positioned above screw parts 12 are temporarily welded. At this time, either one of them is not perfectly welded and a gap for venting air is partially provided to perform temporary welding.
