Abstract

PURPOSE:To print consecutive numbers in units of documents by providing a memory to store respective different consecutive numbers for respective types of documents, a means to identify the type of a document from read data, and another means to select the consecutive numbers corresponding to the identified document from the memory and output-control the selected consecutive numbers. CONSTITUTION:In a memory 3, the start numbers of the respective consecutive numbers, which are set for the respective types of the documents, are stored. A document identifying part 2 identifies the type of the document based on the read data from a document reading part 1. し得ることを可能とした光学式文字読取印字装置を提供
することにある。
