Conventionally, a synthetic resin base as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 has been used to mount a low-voltage cylindrical fuse insulated from a ground plane. In the figure, a base 1 has parallel side walls 2 on both sides, and a partition wall 3 is placed between the two side walls 2, and a required number of fuses 4 having L-shaped terminals 4a at both ends are arranged and attached thereto. And this L-shaped terminal 4a
A shelf 5 protrudes inward from the base 1, and a cylindrical shelf 5 is inserted into the hole of the shelf 5.
A cylindrical spacer tube 6 slightly longer than the thickness of is inserted. A hexagonal nut 7 is placed on the opposite side of the L-shaped terminal 4a so that the hole in the spacer tube 6 and the screw hole communicate with each other, and is fixed between the legs of a U-shaped leaf spring 8 attached to the base 1. ing. Further, the bridge portions of the legs of the leaf spring 8 are formed in an arc shape and are opposed from both sides. Reference numeral 9 denotes a mounting hole for fixing the base 1 to a mounting surface (not shown). A transparent protective cover 10 is fixed to the side wall 2 of the base 1 with screws 11.

The fuse base 1 is screwed to the mounting surface through the base mounting hole 9, and the fuse 4 is fitted between the arcuate surfaces of the leaf spring 8 so as to place the L-shaped terminal 4a on the shelf 5. The screw 12 passing through the hole of the L-shaped terminal and the spacer tube 6 is screwed into the nut 7, and is tightened together with an external connection conductor (not shown) to perform installation and connection. Therefore, when installing or replacing the fuse 4, the protective cover 10 must be loosened with the screws 11.
It is necessary to remove the cover and tighten it again with the screws 11, and there is a disadvantage that a tool is required to attach and detach the cover.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks and to provide a fuse base in which a protective cover can be easily attached and detached without the need for screws or tools.

The above object is to provide a fuse base in which a fuse is mounted between two side walls formed in parallel, and the fuse is covered with a protective cover, and the center part is low and the remaining parts are at both ends along the inner wall surface from the upper end surface of the side wall. A tapered notch and a protrusion protruding inwardly facing each other are provided at approximately the center of the inner wall surface at the upper end of the side wall, and the cover is held by the protrusion and the remaining notch. This is achieved by bending the cover along the taper of the notch surface without using mounting screws, and using the elasticity of the cover to suppress and hold this bending state with a protrusion.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the drawings of the fuse base shown in FIGS. 3 to 5. In FIGS. 3 to 5, a base 1 has parallel side walls 2 on both sides, between which a necessary number of fuses 4 are arranged between a spacer tube 6 fixed by a leaf spring 8 and a hexagonal nut. 7 with screws 12, and the point that this base 1 is fixed to the mounting surface through the mounting hole 9 is similar to the conventional one, so a description thereof will be omitted. The difference between this base 1 and the conventional one is that a tapered notch 14 is provided along the inner wall surface from the upper end of the side wall 2 of the base 1 and is low in the center and has remaining portions 13 at both ends. Protrusions 15 are provided at approximately the center of the wall surface to face each other and protrude inwardly so as to cross this notch. The transparent protective cover 10 is inserted between the notches 14 of both side walls 2, passing over one notch remaining portion 13 and passing under the protrusion 15 along the taper of the notch 14 to the other notch remaining portion 13. It is inserted until it makes contact. The cover 10 then passes over one of the remaining notch portions 13 and falls into the notch. Then, the cover 10 is pressed against the protrusion 15 and fixed without any "backlash" due to the elasticity of the cover 10 itself.
Therefore, there is no need for cover mounting screws or tools for mounting the cover. Of course, before attaching the fuse and cover, the base is fixed to the mounting surface in the same manner as in the conventional case, and connected with the fuse via an external connecting conductor.

When removing the cover 10 to replace the fuse 4, etc., if you pull up the end of the cover 10 at approximately the center of both side walls 2, the thin cover 10 will easily curve and come off from the remaining notch 13 on one side. , it can be easily pulled out along the taper of the notch 14.

As described above, in the present invention, the protective cover of the fuse is held down by the tapered notch provided on the inner wall surface from the upper end of both side walls of the base and the protrusion protruding from both side walls, and the cover is curved. Since the cover is held in this state by utilizing its elasticity, no mounting parts or tools are required, and the cover can be easily attached and detached at low cost.
