Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the imprinting property and writing property, and obtain an envelope cover sheet which is equipped with a transparency for an envelope cover, by applying a pigment layer of silicon dioxide on the surface of a paper with transparency or a transparent plastic film. CONSTITUTION:It is an envelope cover sheet for which a pigment with transparency or a mixed layer of a transparent pigment and water absorbent polymer is applied on the surface of a paper with transparency or transparent plastic film. As the paper with transparency, generally a paper with transparency is enough, and to have lower than 20% of opacity is required. As the transparent plastic film, a film of polyester, polypropylene, etc. is used. As the pigment for the pigment layer with transparency, a silicon dioxide, such as fine grain amorphous silica, colloidal silica, etc. can be counted. The fine grain amorphous silica is preferable among them. For the pigment layer, a pigment with transparency is dispersed on a synthetic resin of acrilic, polyester, or vinyl acetate, and cellulosic derivative, etc. to make a coating material, and this coating material is applied on a paper with transparency or transparent plastic film to form the pigment layer.

[Prior Art] Conventionally, it has been known to use a computer printer to print the addressee, amount, etc. on a letter pad, fold the letter pad, and glue the surrounding area to an envelope. In order to adhere to the sealed letter, a heat-sensitive or pressure-bonding adhesive is applied to the predetermined areas of the letter after printing, and the letters are bonded by heating or pressure after printing. There is.

Recently, many types of printing printers that apply heat, such as thermal printers, have come into use, but if you use a letter pad coated with adhesive, the adhesive will dissolve during printing. There is an inconvenience that may cause the printer to malfunction. In addition, it is necessary to provide a gluing space for applying adhesive to the calligraphy 1ffl note, which causes the inconvenience that a part of the paper is wasted. There is a limit to the number of folds, and for example, folding into four is difficult due to the printer's feed holes at both ends of the paper, and there is an inconvenience in that it is not possible to form multiple tear-off pieces like a payment slip.

As is clear from the results in Table 2, in Examples 4 and 5, in which the pigment layer of the present invention was provided, and in Example 6, in which a mixed layer of pigment and water-absorbing polymer was provided, the synthetic resin layer (Comparative example 4), one without pigment layer (Comparative example 5)
, compared to Comparative Example 6) with only a water-absorbing polymer layer,
This is an excellent envelope cover sheet that maintains transparency and satisfies all aspects of stampability, stamp adhesion, and writability.

By providing a heat-fusible synthetic resin film on the back side of the envelope cover sheet of the present invention and feeding it together with another backing paper to an automatic Murayama machine, it can be connected to an electronic computer and used to print addresses and letters on separately inserted letter paper. The envelope of the present invention can be obtained by printing and folding communication information such as the billed amount, and inserting a letter pad at the same time as manufacturing the envelope.
