Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable refrigerant circuit parts other than an outdoor heat exchanger to be drawn out by drawing a sliding plate, by a method wherein a compressor, an accumulator and stop valves are fixed on said sliding plate secured on the base of a main body with a screw. CONSTITUTION:On a sliding plate 32 held by a hooking part 36 provided on a base 34, an accumulator 23 is mounted with the aid of a fixing tool 37, a compressor 21 is mounted with the aid of vibration-proof rubber and further, stop valves 24 and 25 are mounted with the aid of a fixing tool 38. Service for replacing a refrigerant circuit part such as the compressor 21 may be performed by removing a screw for fixing the sliding plate on the front side, disconnecting pipe connections at the inlet and outlet parts of a heat exchanger, removing the extension pipes of the stop valve parts, and then drawing the sliding plate forward, whereby all of the refrigerant circuit parts such as the compressor other than the outdoor heat exchanger can be drawn out.

Remove the cover aD and take out the compressor through the opening α of the partition plate (8). This is because the refrigerant circuit components are placed on the front side of the compressor, so the compressor can be removed by passing through the partition plate. For accumulator replacement service, remove the brazing from the inlet and outlet vibrators of the accumulator using a bath welding machine. Other refrigerant circuit parts are also serviced by removing the brazing using a soldering machine, so the panels must be removed to avoid burning out the panels with the torch flame. In addition, in order to facilitate the removal work, the product requires a large amount of space so that the torch can be inserted.

Conventional outdoor units are constructed as described above, so when servicing the replacement of refrigerant circuit parts, panels etc. must be disassembled to prevent the flame of the welder's torch from affecting the main unit. In other words, it was necessary to secure a large internal space to facilitate welding, which caused the problem that the 2 main body became large. Furthermore, as shown in Figure 2, in wall-mounted outdoor units, it is impossible to disassemble the panel within the wall, and the heavy product body must be removed and replaced at another location. There were some problems.
