Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a danger that a hot wind is made into an abnormally high temperature condition beforehand by providing a means to restrict a power supply to a heating means for a prescribed time, interlocking with the operation of a rapid cooling switch, and regulating the activating period of a control means. CONSTITUTION:The time constant of a charging and discharging circuit 25 of a control part 20 is changed by the resistance value of a thermistor equipped as a detecting element 23, the thermistor is a positive characteristic, the resistance value is rapidly increased when it intends to rise to a prescribed control temperature or above, the time constant of the charging and discharging circuit 25 is made large, a control angle is increased, a power supplied to a heating part 2 is narrowed, and a wind temperature is prevented from rising to the control temperature or above. In addition, the title unit is equipped with a quenching switch 30 to turn on a main switch 5 and to compulsorily stop a current flowing to the heating part 2 in the middle of a blasting action and a timer part 31. The rapid cooling switch 30 short-circuits capacitor 24 both terminals of the control part 20 at a switch contact, compulsorily interrupts the input of a trigger signal to a phase control element 21, causes the control element 21 to be always in an off-condition, and stops the current flowing to the heating part 2. The timer part 31 causes the supply power to the heating part 2 to be restricted for a prescribed time after an activation.

[Prior Art] Conventionally, as a method of controlling the temperature of hot air of this type, a temperature detection means such as a thermistor is provided on the lee side of the hot air, and the phase of the electric power supplied to the heating means is controlled in accordance with the temperature detected by the detection means. In many cases, the temperature of the hot air is kept approximately constant by doing this.

[1. The section that Ming tries to solve! ! ! ] However, since the temperature detection means itself waits for heat capacity, it is inevitable that a gap will occur between the actual hot air temperature and the detected temperature immediately after switching from cold air to hot air.
As a result, there is a risk that more power than required is supplied to the heating means without sufficient temperature control, resulting in the formation of abnormally hot air.

The control unit 20 uses a bidirectional thyristor such as a triac as a phase control element 21, and also uses an SBS
A bidirectional switching element 22 such as the above is provided for generating a trigger signal for the phase control element 21. Furthermore, a positive temperature coefficient thermistor is provided on the leeward side of the heating section 2 as a hot air temperature detection element 23, and the detection element 23 and the capacitor 24 are connected to each other.
A charging/discharging circuit 25 is configured. Therefore, every half cycle of the input commercial AC voltage, the capacitor 24 of the charging/discharging circuit 25 is charged and discharged at a rate determined by the time constant of the circuit 25, and the voltage across the capacitor 24 exceeds a predetermined value. At times, the switching element 22 is turned on and a trigger signal is sent to the phase control element 21 to perform predetermined phase control. Here, the time constant of the charging/discharging circuit 25 changes depending on the resistance value of the thermistor provided as the sensing element 23, but the thermistor has a positive characteristic and the resistance value rapidly increases when the temperature rises above a predetermined control temperature. This increase in resistance increases the time constant of the charger/discharger n25, increasing the control angle, and restricting the power supplied to the heating section 2 to prevent the air temperature from rising above the control temperature.

7 is connected in parallel with both ends of the capacitor 24 of the control section 20 via a diode 37. Therefore, during the ON operation of the switching cycle 836 yen, both ends of the capacitor 24 of the control unit 20 are switched off by the diode 37 for only a half cycle of the commercial AC voltage, and the control of the phase control element 21 is stopped, and the temperature detection element 23 is used for power control, half of the power is supplied to the heating section 2.

Here, in the initial stage of starting the dryer or for about 10 seconds immediately after transitioning from a rapid cooling state to a heating state, the temperature of the sensing element 23 itself is lower than the hot air temperature, and the resistance value of the element 23 maintains a low value. , the control unit 20 enters an uncontrolled state in which the heating unit 2 is energized for almost the entire period, and attempts to supply the heating unit 2 with power close to the limit of its power capacity. However, in this embodiment, by forcibly limiting the electric power supplied to the heating unit 2 by about half using the timer unit 31, the hot air is prevented from becoming abnormally high temperature. Also, sufficiently large electric power is supplied to the heating unit 2, and the temperature of the hot air is prevented from dropping abnormally.

It should be noted that if the time during which the current supply to the heating section 2 is stopped is short, the temperature of the sensing element 23 has not completely cooled down, and the time limit set by the timer section 31 may be shorter than the above-mentioned 10 seconds. In this embodiment, the capacitor 42 is discharged at a predetermined time constant at the same time as the power to the timer section 31 is cut off, so that the capacitor 42 is completely discharged in an off time of about 30 seconds, for example. , control is performed in accordance with the temperature of the sensing element 23 itself.

[Effects of the Invention] As described above, the present invention is provided with means for restricting the power supply to the heating means for a predetermined period of time, and in conjunction with the operation of the quenching switch 30, the activation timing of the restricting means is regulated. , even if heating and cooling are repeated frequently using the quenching switch 30, abnormal high temperatures do not occur.

Further, the control means is a phase control method using a charging/discharging circuit 25 of a positive temperature coefficient thermistor detection element 23 and a capacitor 24, and the charging current of the capacitor 24 is bypassed to limit or stop the power supply to the heating means. By doing this, it is possible to easily and reliably interrupt or limit a large current by controlling an extremely small current.

Furthermore, by setting the power limit time for the heating means in accordance with the stop time of the heating means by the quenching switch 30, the hot air temperature is not too limited even if heating and cooling are repeated frequently. It has many advantages, such as being able to maintain a stable hot air temperature without any problems.

[Claims] 1. A blowing means, a means for heating the air sent from the blowing means, a means for detecting the temperature of the heated hot air, and a means for heating the heating means in response to the temperature detected by the detecting means. In a hair treatment device that is equipped with means for controlling the power supplied and a main switch that regulates when to start energizing the blowing means and the heating means, the power supplied to the heating means is controlled for a predetermined period of time after startup. and a quenching switch that forcibly stops energization to the heating means while the main switch is on, and regulating the activation timing of the limiting means in conjunction with the operation of the quenching switch. Characteristic hair treatment device. 2. A blowing means, a means for heating the air sent from the blowing means, and a sensing element whose resistance value changes in response to changes in the heated air temperature, and whose resistance value increases rapidly when a predetermined control temperature is exceeded. (23) and the charging/discharging characteristics of the capacitor (24) connected in series with the sensing element (23) to control the control angle for the phase control element (21) and automatically control the power supplied to the heating means. a main switch (5) that regulates when to start energizing the blowing means and the heating means;
By shorting both ends of the capacitor (24), the phase control element (
21), and the charging current to the capacitor (24) is switched off from the commercial AC power source (8) for a predetermined period of time after the short circuit of the capacitor (24) is released by the quick cooling switch (30). A hair treatment device comprising a timer section (31) that bypasses every half cycle. 3. The bypass time of the capacitor (24) by the timer section (31) is set to a predetermined set time as the upper limit, and is set to become shorter as the energization stop time is shorter, and is linked to the rapid cooling operation of the rapid cooling switch (30). Then, the power supply to the timer section (31) is stopped, and at the same time as heating is restarted, the timer section (31) is stopped.
3. The hair treatment device according to claim 2, wherein energization to the hair treatment device 31) is restarted.
