Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a plate spring from coming off in performing an assembling process before completing the assembling of a center core and to release connection between the plate spring and a slit after completing manufacturing by connecting the plate spring to a core block with an adhesive in performing the manufacturing process of a disk shape recording medium. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic recording disk 12 on which still picture information, etc., is recorded is housed rotatably freely in the inside of a hard case constituted in square shape in a magnetic recording cartridge 10, and the center core 14 as a reinforcing member is provided in the center part of the disk 12, and the core 14 is exposed from the aperture part 18 of the cartridge 10 to the outside. Also, a window part 18 where a magnetic head is positioned is opened at the cartridge 10, and a metallic core plate 30 is used in a part of the core 14, and the core block 32 made of resin is mounted in the center part of the plate 30, and the plate spring 34 is arranged at the block 32. A prescribed position is formed by inserting the plate spring 34 between the projection 38A and the projection 38B of the slit 38, and the plate spring 34 is stuck and connected to the projection 38B with an ultraviolet non-blocking adhesive.

Recently, imaging devices such as solid-state image sensors and image pickup tubes have been combined with recording devices that use magnetic disks, which are inexpensive and have a relatively large storage capacity, to electronically take still photographs of subjects and record them on rotating magnetic disks. Electronic still camera systems have been developed and are attracting attention, in which images are recorded and played back using a separate television system or printer.

The magnetic disks used in such systems are used in the form of magnetic recording cartridges. A magnetic recording cartridge rotatably houses a magnetic disk for magnetically recording still image information, etc., and this magnetic recording cartridge can be used as a magnetic recording device built into an electronic camera or a playback device that is integrated with or separate from the magnetic recording device. It is installed and used. When installing a magnetic recording cartridge into a magnetic recording device or reproducing device in an electronic camera, connect the center hole provided in the center core of the magnetic disk in the magnetic recording cartridge directly to the rotational drive shaft of the magnetic recording or reproducing device. Mounting the magnetic recording cartridge is troublesome and inconvenient, and there is a possibility that the magnetic recording cartridge cannot be correctly mounted in the magnetic recording or reproducing apparatus.

In order to eliminate such troubles, a magnetic recording cartridge attachment/detachment device has been proposed in the past. , a packet formed integrally with the top lid, or pivotally supported on the main body or the top lid, and by inserting a magnetic recording cartridge into this packet and then closing the top lid, the magnetic recording car in the packet can be removed. The magnetic disk of the cartridge is attached to the rotational drive shaft of the main body of the device. A center core is provided at the center of the magnetic disk, and the rotation drive shaft is fitted into the center hole of the center core to rotate the magnetic disk within the magnetic recording cartridge.

By the way, the center core of a magnetic disk needs to be accurately attached to the rotation drive shaft, and if this attachment is insufficient, the magnetic disk will cause eccentric rotation or uneven rotation, making it difficult for the magnetic head to accurately record signals on the magnetic disk. Not only is there a risk that the data will not be reproduced, but there is also a risk that the magnetic disk, magnetic head, etc. will be adversely affected. For this reason, in the center core of a conventional magnetic disk, an elastic piece made of resin is formed in the center hole into which the drive shaft is inserted, and the center core is pressed against the drive shaft side with a predetermined pressing force. to ensure accurate attachment to the drive shaft.

However, elastic pieces made of resin have low durability and heat resistance, and may be subject to deformation over time, causing misalignment of the magnetic disk and eccentric rotation of the magnetic disk. In order to solve this problem, in Utility Model Application Publication No. 59-138063,
A center core using a metal leaf spring instead of a resin elastic piece has been proposed. This metal leaf spring supports both ends of the leaf spring in a slit in the center hole of the center core into which the rotary drive shaft of the magnetic recording/reproducing device is inserted, and the leaf spring supports the rotary drive shaft inserted into the center hole. It is characterized by being biased and pressed against the opposing surface.

In the above embodiment, an ultraviolet non-stick adhesive that becomes non-adhesive when exposed to ultraviolet rays is used as the adhesive, but the adhesive is not limited to this, and may become non-adhesive due to changes in temperature, humidity, changes over time, or irradiation with light. A similar effect can be obtained by using an adhesive. Alternatively, an adhesive having relatively low peel strength may be used so that the adhesive surface is peeled off when the rotational drive shaft 22 is inserted for the first time after assembly is completed.

As explained above, according to the method for manufacturing a disk-shaped recording medium according to the present invention, the leaf spring can be temporarily fixed to the core block, thereby preventing the leaf spring from coming off from the core block during the manufacturing process. After manufacturing is completed, the temporary fixing of the leaf spring can be released. In addition, by using the part where the adhesive is not attached as a support point,
Since the spring pressure can be kept constant, deterioration of the chucking condition can be prevented.
