を提供することを目的として第6図に示すように駆動軸
の回シに回転駆動される円盤状磁気記録媒体6に対して
、1対の磁気ヘッド体7,8を上記媒体に対して上下両
面よシ所定接触圧力のもとに挾持して情報を記録再生す
る装置において、前記磁気ヘッド体7゜8は、磁気ヘッ
ド部9,10と、前記磁気ヘッド部9,10を所定間隔
をおいて配置された押圧部材11.12とからなり、か
つ、前記押圧部材11゜12の上記媒体に摺接する面に
対して、前記磁気ヘッド部の頂部が所定量突出するよう
に配置したことを特徴とする磁気記録再生装置を本発明
の発明者等は特願昭60−193511号においてすで
に提案した。

間隔をことすると、前記a及びbが’/2 ≦a ≦b
の条件を満たすように設定することにより、磁気ヘッド
部の頂点を中心にフロッピーディスクとの接触が行なわ
れ、磁気ヘッド部の頂点にギャップを設置すれば、ギャ
ップにフロッピーディスクが正確に接触し、良好な磁気
記録再生を得ることができ、また、磁気ヘッド部とフロ
ンピーディスクの接触面圧は、フロッピーディスクの反
りや、フロッピーディスクに対する磁気ヘッド体の上下
方向の関係位置ズレの影響を直接受けることなく設定す
ることができ、安定で良好な接触状態を実現することが
可能で、従来困難であった高密度の磁気記録再生ができ

置された磁気記録再生装置の前記磁気ヘッド体において
、前記磁気ヘッド部と前記媒体を介して他方に配置され
た磁気ヘッド体の磁気ヘッド部との間隔をbとし、前記
磁気ヘッド部とこれ自体に近い方の前記押圧部材との間
隔をaとすると、前記a及びbがb/2≦a≦bの条件
を満たすことを特徴とする磁気記録再生装置。
