In this duct, the portion facing the interior of the room is covered with a skin sheet, and this portion has an air exhaust port and a control panel mounting port at appropriate locations.

Molded hollow bodies may be deformed by the negative pressure at this time.

If you have to cover the edges with a skin sheet, for example at the opening of a duct, if the skin is cut out along with the wall of the hollow body, you will have to re-cover this area with another skin sheet. This is not only a problem in terms of aesthetics but also in the strength of the skin sheet in this area.

It has a covered surface 1a that covers and a viewing surface 1b that does not cover, and openings 3 and 4 are provided in the covered surface 1a. The bare surface 1b of this hollow body 1 is placed on a vacuum forming table 5. Next, an adhesive is applied to the entire surface of the covering surface 1a, and then a skin sheet 2 such as a foamed vinyl chloride sheet that has been heated to a temperature of 60 to 150° C. and made flexible is placed over the surface with the edges sandwiched between clamps 6, and the edges are covered with the adhesive. is held airtight on a vacuum forming table 5. In this state, the air vent hole 7 provided in the vacuum forming table 5,
7, the air between the covering surface 1a and the skin sheet 2 is removed. At this time, the air inside the hollow body 1 also flows through the opening 3,
At the beginning of this air suction process, the openings 3 and 4 are closed with a covering sheet to make the hollow part of the hollow body 1 airtight in advance. The openings 3 and 4 can be closed by the skin sheet 2 by heating the skin sheet 2 to make it sufficiently soft and covering it with the hollow body 1.
When the inside of the hollow body 1 is in a slightly negative pressure state, the cover sheet 2 can be placed in close contact with the edge of the opening to close it, or the pressing member 8 can be protruded from the outside to cover the edge of the opening.
This is done by pressing from the outside. In addition, in order to improve the adhesion at the edge of the opening, the opening 3,
The airtightness of the skin sheet 2 may be improved by forming an annular protrusion 9 on the edge of the opening 4 or by applying an adhesive to the edge of the opening.

被覆することができる。 The present invention is as described above, and a skin sheet is provided on the outer surface of the wall having the opening of a synthetic resin hollow body having a hollow portion surrounded by a wall and having an opening in the wall. In a method of covering a synthetic resin hollow body with a skin sheet having an opening to be covered, the hollow body is placed on a vacuum forming table, and then the skin sheet is placed over the entire surface to be covered with the skin sheet, and the edges of the hollow body are covered with a skin sheet. After making it airtight on a vacuum forming table,
The air between the coating surface and the skin sheet is sucked through the air vent hole of the vacuum forming table, and at the initial stage of this air suction process, the skin sheet is brought into contact with the outer edge of the opening to close the opening with the skin sheet. As a result, the hollow part of the hollow body is made airtight in advance, and the air between the covering surface and the skin sheet is subsequently suctioned to cover the covering surface of the hollow body with the skin sheet. Even if the skin sheet is applied to the hollow body 1 having the holes 3 and 4 by the air suction method with the openings left open from the beginning, there will be no large negative pressure inside the hollow body. Even if the walls constituting the hollow part are thin and made of thermoplastic resin with low strength, the skin sheet 2 and the openings 3 and 4 of the hollow body 1 can be opened by air suction without being deformed. The coated surface 1a can be neatly coated.

有する合成樹脂製中空体の表皮シート被覆方法。1. A synthetic resin hollow body made of synthetic resin that has a hollow part surrounded by a wall and has an opening in the wall, and has an opening covered with a skin sheet on the outer surface of the wall that has the opening. In the method of covering a manufactured hollow body with a skin sheet, the hollow body is placed on a vacuum forming table, and then the skin sheet is placed over the entire surface of the surface to be covered with the skin sheet, and the edges are placed on the vacuum forming table in an airtight manner. After that, the air between the coating surface and the skin sheet is sucked through the air vent hole of the vacuum forming table, and at the initial stage of this air suction process, the skin sheet is brought into contact with the outer edge of the opening, and the skin sheet is used to close the opening. By closing the hollow part of the hollow body, the hollow part is made airtight in advance to prevent the inside of this hollow part from becoming any more negative pressure, and then the air between the covered surface and the skin sheet is sucked to close the covered surface of the hollow body. 1.
