The most important thing about cross-country skis is that they are light and glide well, but at the same time, they must also provide a large amount of forward movement when kicked, and this creates a paradox: the better the skis are, the harder it is to kick.

ーに係るものである。 The sliding surface of the lower surface of the ski is divided into three parts: a front sliding zone 1, a center kicking zone 2, and a rear sliding zone 3, and polishing grooves 4 are formed on the sliding surface sheets of the front sliding zone 1 and the rear sliding zone 3. The polishing grooves 5 formed in the running surface sheet of the central kick zone 2 are made parallel to the ski length direction to form a fine, smooth, and fluff-free polished surface, and the polishing grooves 5 are parallel to the ski length direction to form a rough, deep and fuzz-free polishing surface. This invention relates to a cross-country ski characterized by having a polished surface without fuzz.

During skiing, since both the polishing grooves 4 and 5 are provided parallel to the longitudinal direction of the ski, they do not impede the skiing performance.

トリースキーとなる。 In addition, the front gliding zone 1 and the rear gliding zone 3 have polished grooves 4 formed parallel to the length of the ski to create a finely smooth and fluff-free gliding surface, so it is suitable for upper gliding with low gliding resistance. It also helps in the adhesion of wax, making it a very smooth cross-country ski.

易いスキーとなる。 In the case of kicking, especially when kicking in a skating style with the tips of the skis slightly opened outward, force is applied and the central kicking zone 2 comes into pressure contact with the snow surface. Since the polishing grooves 5 are formed parallel to the length of the ski, and are rough and deep, the presence of the polishing grooves 5 resists the sliding movement of the ski when kicked, making the ski easier to kick.

効果のあるクロスカントリースキーとなる。 In addition, due to the presence of the polishing grooves 5, the adhesion of the wax aiming at the kicking effect is increased, and the wax remains durable even in the central kicking zone 2 where force is applied and the kicking zone 2 is pressed against the snow surface. Since the cross-country ski is prevented from peeling off, it becomes a cross-country ski that is very easy to kick and has a kicking effect.

To make the polishing grooves 4 and 5, if you use two types of whetstones, a rough whetstone and a finishing whetstone, which have an outer peripheral width wider than the ski width, first use the finishing whetstone to move the ski in the longitudinal direction and grind the entire surface of the running surface sheet. is ground to form a grinding groove 4, and then the central kick zone 2 is ground with a coarse grindstone to form a grinding groove 5.
