Detailed Description of the Invention ``Object of the Invention'' The present invention relates to a repair mechanism for bent portions of pipes, and is capable of repairing water leaks and other failures occurring at bent portions of pipes under conditions of continued use of the pipes. The aim is to obtain a mechanism that can be easily repaired.

(Prior Art) Bent pipes called elbows are often used in piping lines used for water supply and other purposes. That is, such a bent portion is formed by connecting the above-mentioned mortar tubes by welding.

However, when a crack or the like occurs in the welded part of such a bent pipe part, the outside of the part is wrapped with tape, etc. In other words, by wrapping the tape at least partially by laminating and polymerizing it. This is to repair damaged areas such as cracks.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) The above-mentioned bent pipe portion forms the corner of the pipe, so it easily comes into contact with other objects, and is also a part that is strongly influenced by the flow pressure of the fluid inside the pipe. This often causes cracks and other damage, particularly at welded joints, but no suitable means have yet been developed to prevent or repair such damage to bent pipe sections.

Therefore, even if it is wrapped with tape as described above, the number of steps required is large and the finished appearance is not desirable. Particularly in the inner part of the bending radius, the wrapping becomes extremely dense and unsightly, and in the outer part of the bending radius, it becomes a scab, which tends to be insufficient to prevent leakage, and the purpose of repair may not be achieved. many.

Of course, it is conceivable to remove the bent pipe section from the pipeline system, install a new bent pipe, and weld it, but in this case, the amount of work involved would be large, and the work would take a long time from start to finish. During completion, it is necessary to completely stop the flow of fluid in the pipeline, and in cases where the pipeline is a line that supplies water or other supplies to a large number of residences, workshops, etc. However, while the flow of such fluid is completely stopped, life or work that utilizes the fluid must be interrupted. In other words, the number of man-hours is large,
Moreover, it is often practically difficult to adopt such construction because the impact of interruption of work and daily life is extremely large.

By attaching divided ring-shaped locking members to both ends of the fan-shaped housing body in the axial direction of the pipe as described above, and tightening the fan-shaped housings with a tightening means, this also works as a bent part of the pipe line. This ensures stable and accurate attachment.

By accommodating the band-shaped packing material having the inner cavity between the ring-shaped locking members in the housing body mounted in the above-described manner, the portion of the conduit bent portion that requires repair can be appropriately covered. Also, the packing material having such a lumen provides little resistance to the tightening of the sector-shaped housing body as described above.

Moreover, the pressure of the internal fluid leaked from the conduit acts on the inner lumen, so that a sealing action corresponding to the fluid pressure is achieved, that is, an appropriate seal is formed even though leakage remains. The band-shaped packing is cut slightly longer than the circumferential surface of the tube and is attached and tightened to the outer surface of the tube to form an effective seal between the joint end surfaces.

(Example) To explain the specific embodiment of the present invention as described above as shown in the attached drawings, the bent pipe 11 between the straight pipe conduit body 10 and 10 is connected to the existing pipe 11 by the welded part 12. As is well known, in order to repair such a bent pipe, it is necessary to straddle the straight pipe body 10 and the bent pipe 11 and extend it outward. a split sector housing 1.1 for enclosing;
A clamping means 2 is provided between the divided end faces of these sector-shaped housings 1.1.
and a ring-shaped locking member 3 is provided at both ends,
Furthermore, a banking 5 having a bore 6 is provided in the packing receiving portion 4 formed between the tightening means 2.2.

The ring-shaped locking member 3 described above is made of steel and has locking claws 13 at both ends that lock onto the outer surface of the tube, and is manufactured in two pieces and attached to each housing with adhesive. By tightening the tightening means 2, the tube body 10 or 11 is tightly secured to the outer surface thereof.

The banking 5 has the above-mentioned inner cavity 6, and has lip parts 7 formed on both sides of the inner cavity 6, and is formed into a belt shape. A slightly longer cut piece is set around the welded part 12, and adhesive is applied between the cut ends to form an integral ring shape. The length longer than the circumference is pressed against the tube body to stabilize the joint between the cut ends and form an effective seal.

1.2 shows a structure in which the repair mechanism according to the present invention is separately applied to each welded part 12 at both ends of a bent pipe 11. Therefore, the one on the left in FIG. 1 shows the external appearance. Although only the cloth side is shown in cross section, in the present invention, each welded portion 12 on both sides of the bent pipe 11 is appropriately covered as shown in Fig. 3.4. It can be implemented as a one-piece housing. That is, in the case of Fig. 1.2, the housing 1 is a fan-shaped housing of about 2O2, whereas in the case of Fig. 3.4, the large housing 1 is approximately 90°.
, l, and the above-mentioned packing accommodating portion 4 and packing 5 are provided at both ends of such housings 1 and l, respectively, and another rubber spacer 8 is interposed in the middle part, The intervening portion of the rubber spacer 8 is also provided with a tightening means 2a. The other structural relationships are the same as those shown in Fig. 1.2 above, and the rubber spacer 8 is divided into two pieces in the same way as the ring-shaped locking member 3 mentioned above, and is attached to each housing 1 with adhesive. It is something that

By employing hardened alloy steel as the ring-shaped locking member 3, it is possible to effectively lock and fasten the tube body 1o or bent pipe 11 made of general mild steel or the like by tightening with the tightening means 2. This has been experimentally confirmed. Therefore, the mechanism of the present invention can be set on the pipe simply by tightening with the tightening means 2, and the sealing relationship can be completed.

In other words, if the dividing line of the housing is formed along such a curved line of the tube axis, the housing will be formed by the inner part 1a and the outer part 1b of the radius of curvature. It is clear that the relationships of the present invention as described above can be sufficiently established. Since the tightening means is located on the side surface of the bent pipe 11 and does not protrude outward, the degree of contact with other objects can be reduced in specific field conditions.

One of the requirements of the present invention is to use a band-shaped packing instead of a conventional ring-shaped banking 5, and the band-shaped packing can be easily manufactured by extrusion molding or the like. , and there is no need to use a special mold to form the packing. Moreover, by attaching and tightening such a band-shaped puffing that is slightly longer than the circumference, an effective seal can be created between the ends of the band-shaped packing. is obtained. Depending on the case, the number of band-shaped bankings is the same as the number of divisions of the housing (two), and they are attached to the housing by adhesive or fastening means.

``Effects of the Invention'' According to the present invention as explained above, the sector-shaped housing is adopted as a split type, and the pipe is fixed by installing a packing material inside the TS-shaped housing and attaching a split ring-shaped locking member. It is possible to easily and effectively cover and lock the bent part of the pipe, that is, it can easily and quickly accomplish the purpose of repair under operating conditions where liquid or other fluids are flowing in the pipe, and it also has an aesthetically pleasing appearance. This invention is industrially very effective because it allows good settings to be made.
