ツクアツプ作用とガスケツト本体に対する保形作
用(元の形状を保つ働き)とによつて確実に阻止
される。そのため、叙述したはみ出しに伴う気密
性の低下やガスケツト本体の局部的な変形が未然
に防止され、ガスケツトの耐用寿命が向上する。
