しくは溶融させ、これにより前記貫通隙間を埋
め、或いは更に固定部材の熱融着性物質外部に露
出している頭部を覆つてより防水性を高める必要
があつた。しかし、このような作業をトンネル内
での狭い場所で行なうことは必ずしも容易なこと
ではなく、また地山もしくは覆工コンクリートに
打ちつけるべき固定部材の数も多いので、上述し
たような防水作業の手間が多くなり、面倒である
等の問題を有し、このためこの点の改良が望まれ
ていた。

ば、固定部材11がゴムシート6を貫通して打設
された場合、ゴムシート6はその全体が熱融着性
物質7中に埋蔵し、固定された状態にあるので、
固定部材11がゴムシート6の中心部を外周部側
に向けて押し広げるように貫通すると、逆にゴム
シート6の外周部側から中心側に向けて強い反力
が作用し、固定部材11を強く締め付け、固定部
