表面に形成される化粧板及びその製法に関するものであ

例えば、メガネフレームはレンズを保持するために顔に
着用するものではあるが、軽くて掛は易く、長時間着用
しても疲れないといった機能面のみならず、デザイン志
向が高く、種々の装飾、デザインが施されたメガネフレ
ームが多用されている。勿論、近年の金属製メガネフレ
ームは抗張力が高く、バネ性の優れた材質が用いられる
ため必然的にスリムなフレームとなり、機能性の追及が
合わせてデザイン向上にもなっているケースは多い、と
ころで、メガネフレームに施されている従来の装飾形態
としては、メツキや塗装、更に転写等による印刷が一般
的である。しかし、これら従来の装飾形態は至って単調
であると同時に、印刷によって形成される模様は平面的
に奥行は感じられない、又印刷模様は単なる平面的であ
るのみならず、フレーム表面に薄いインク層が凸状を成
して付着しているに過ぎず、物との接触により該インク
層は剥れて該印刷模様が消滅してしまうケースも多い、
このような現象はメガネフレームのみならず、一般に装
身具と称されるものに現われ問題となっているケースが

(本発明の構成)
本発明はメガネフレームやブローチ等の装身具の表面に
形成される化粧板に関しての技術であり、該化粧板は3
層を持って形成されている。勿論、ベースは本体である
が、該本体の一部表面に凹状の皿を加工し、該皿の底に
はカラー層を有している。8にカラー層は所定の色彩で
色付けされた薄い層であって、塗装膜であってもメツキ
層であってもよい訳で2本体全域をカラーメツキした際
には、該メツキ層をカラー層に代用してもよく、更にメ
ツキ層の上面に別のカラー層を形成する場合もあり得る
。又該カラー層のベースは単に金属面のみならず、熱硬
化性樹脂をベースとしてもよい、そして、このように形
成されたカラー層上には凹凸をなした模様が造形される
ことになるが、該凹凸模様の形成には互いに混り合わな
い複数の塗料が使用され、例えば油性の塗料と水性の塗
料を用いる。そして、両塗料によって凹凸模様を形成す
るには、まず何れか一方の塗料を塗布し、硬化する前に

布する前にプライマー加工が施される。モしてエポキシ
樹脂塗料が注入された後は強制加熱によって、若しくは
常温にて硬化させ、必要に応じ上層の表面は研摩される
