Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable a faulty condition of a water level sensor to be detected by a method wherein a water level signal discriminating means may input a water level data to judge whether a combination of water level signals detected by a plurality of water level detectors is normal or not and then if the combination is abnormal, the means may output an abnormal signal. CONSTITUTION:A water level signal discriminating means 12 may input a water level data outputted by a water level signal inputting means 5 to judge whether a combination of water level signals detected by water level sensors 2, 3 and 4 is normal or not. If it is abnormal, it may output an abnormal signal. In this case, a normal combination of the water level signals has only four combinations. Thus, in the case that any of the water level sensors 2, 3 and 4 is faulty in their ON states or OFF states to show an abnormal combination, the water level signal discriminating means 12 may judge it and output an abnormal signal. As its abnormal signal is inputted to the operating controlling means 6, a water reduction informing lamp 7, a full water informing buzzer 11, a heater 9 and a hot water circulation pump 10 are terminated for their operations. Thus, it is possible to prevent the water reduction informing lamp 7 or the full water informing buzzer 11 from being erroneously operated due to a trouble of the water level sensors 2, 3 and 4.

2. Description of the Related Art A conventional water level detection device for a hot water heating system includes a plurality of water level detectors 2.
3.4 is installed to detect high water level, medium water level, and low water level respectively. Then, the water level signals detected by the water level detectors 2, 3.4 are inputted by the water level signal input means 5, and transmitted to the operation control means 6 as water level data. The operation control means 6 controls the operation based on the input water level data,
When the water level drops and the middle water level detector 3 turns off, the water reduction warning lamp 7 lights up, prompting the user to pour water. When the water level further decreases and the low water level detector 4 turns off, the heat exchanger 8 that warms the hot water is heated, but the operation of the heater 9 such as a svarna and the pump 10 that circulates the hot water is stopped. When the user pours water, the water level rises and the high water level detector 2
When turned on, the full water alarm buzzer 11 would sound.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, in the conventional configuration, if the middle water level detector 3 is turned off and malfunctions even though the water level is above the middle water level, the low water alarm lamp 7 is turned off.
If it lights up by mistake, or if the high water level detector 2 turns on even though the water level is below the high water level, the full water alarm buzzer 1 will turn on.
There was an issue where 1 was ringing incorrectly.
