Abstract

PURPOSE:To observe the contamination degree of a hollow yarn membrane by arranging the hollow yarn membrane and activated carbon in a cartridge and setting the upper end part of the hollow yarn membrane to an inlet side and forming the part directly thereabove from a transparent cap. CONSTITUTION:A hollow yarn membrane case 9 having hollow yarn membranes 6 received therein is received in a cartridge 5 and activated carbon 7 is received in said cartridge 5. When a change-over valve 4 is set to a raw water side, raw water can be directly taken out to the outside from a water stopcock 3 through a raw water emitting passage 1c. When the change-over valve 4 is set to a purified water side, the raw water enters the water passing inlet 5a of the cartridge 5 from the water stopcock 3 through an inlet passage 1d and applies water pressure to a check valve 8 to float the same and passes through the activated carbon 7 to adsorb a chlorine smell and a contaminant by the activated carbon 7 while the treated water is allowed to flow through the hollow yarn membranes 6 from the upper end parts thereof to remove various bacteria. By this method, the cartridge can be made inexpensive.

内に活性炭を収納し、その活性炭の通水出口側にフィル
タを配置し、このフィルタの汚れ具合を外部から11察
できるようにカートリッジ全体を透明としたものが公知
である。

膜の上端部を入口側とし、その直上部分を透明キャップ
で形成したことを特徴とする浄水器としたものである。

〔実施例〕 以下、本発明の一実施例を第1図〜第3図に基づいて説
明する。ボデー1は、接続部2を介して水栓3に着脱自
在に取付けられている。ボデー1は中央通路1aを有し
、その中に切換弁4が収納され、水栓連通路1bを原水
吐出通路1cと入口通路1dとに切換え連通される。カ
ートリッジ5はボデー1に着脱自在に取付けられている
。カートリッジ5は下面に通水人口5aと通水出口5b
とを有している。この通水人口5aはボデー1の入口通
路1dに連通され、通水出口5bはボデー1の浄水出口
通路1eに連通される。カートリッジ5内には、中空糸
膜6を収納した中空糸膜ケース9が収納され、その周囲
に粒状やし殻活性炭7が収納されている。活性炭7の上
下端面を形成するように多孔板10.11が配置されて
いる。活性炭7と通水人口5aとの間には逆止弁8が配
置されている。逆止弁8は、自重によって通水人口5a
を塞いでおり、水圧が加わると上方へ浮いてその周囲の
隙間から水が活性炭7に至る。中空糸膜6と活性炭7の
上端はほぼ一致しており、その上方空間5cを介して連
通されている。従って、中空糸膜6はその上端部が水の
入口側となる。カートリッジ5の土壁は透明なキャップ
5dが取付けられている。このキャップ5dは凹面形を
している。中空糸膜6は上端部で折曲げて形成されてい
る。カートリッジ5をボデー1側に押しつけるように、
カバー12がボデー1に着脱自在に取付けられている。
