〔概 要]
電子写真方式の画像形成装置における感光ドラムに対し
て所定間隙をもって対向配置する現像器の着脱機構に関
し、
上フレームの開閉操作に伴って、それぞれ自動的に現像
器を感光ドラムに対し離間、或いは所定間隙状態に近接
ロックし得るようにして、該現像器の着脱操作を容易に
することを目的とし、用紙カセット収容部及び用紙走行
経路を有する下フレームに対し、感光ドラム及び該ドラ
ムと所定間隙をもって対向配置された現像器を備えた上
フレームをヒンジ部により縦方向に開閉可能とした装置
構成において、上記現像器は支持部により感光ドラム側
へ移動可能に配置され、かつ該現像器の上方に現像器の
一部と係合する板ばね付きし7マーが回動自在に設けら
れ、該板ばね付きレバーに前記ヒンジ部近傍の下フレー
ム部分より上フレーム内に設けた支軸を介して配設され
たリンクが接続されてなり、上記上フレームを閉じた際
は、前記板ばね付きレバーがリンクにより引張られそれ
に伴って現像器を感光ドラムへ移動させ所定の間隙位置
で固定し、謹上フレームを開いた際には、前記リンクの
押し戻しによる板ばね付きレバーの回動により前記現像

に該画像形成装置における感光ドラムに対して所定間隙
をもって対向配置する現像器を簡便に着脱し得る機構に

での用紙のジャム処理や現像器、感光ドラム等の保守が
容易な構成が要求され、これに伴ってこれら装置におい
ては、用紙カセット収容部等を有する下フレームと感光
ドラム及び現像器等を備えた上フレームとを、これらの
各用紙走行経路と連通ずる主用紙走行経路にて2つに分
割して、所謂下フレームに対して上フレームを開閉可能
に構成することによって対処しているが、更に感光ドラ
ムに対して所定間隙をもって対向配置する現像器の保守
時における着脱操作を簡便に実現できる装置構成が必要

に対してヒンジ部13を介して上フレーム11を矢印A
のように上方へ開放し、該現像器15のロック部19の
ロックを解除した後、該現像器15を対向する感光ドラ
ム14より矢印Bの方向へ一旦遠ざけて取り外す。また
現像器15の取り付けに際しては、上フレーム11を開
放した後、現像器15を感光ドラム14より離間した位
置に仮付けし、しかる後、該感光ドラム14に対して所
定間隙をもって対向するように現像器15を位置決めし
てロックし、前記上フレーム11を閉じて稼動している
ため、該現像器15の着脱操作が2〜3操作作業で行わ
なければならず、煩雑化してオペレータが節単に着脱す

し得るようにして、該現像器の着脱操作を容易、かつ迅
速にした新規な電子写真式の画像形成装置を提供するこ

自在に設けられ、咳仮ばね付きレバーに前記ヒンジ部近
傍の下フレーム部分より上フレーム内に設けた支軸を介

ックすることが可能となり、上フレームより現像器を簡
