[Detailed Description of the Invention] The present invention relates to an instrument mounting structure, and more particularly to an instrument mounting structure that ensures good grounding of the instrument by establishing electrical contact between the instrument and the panel on which it is mounted.

Generally, when installing instruments that require internal circuitry to be grounded to a panel, the structure shown in FIG. 1 is used. That is, the outer casing 2, in which the inner unit 2a containing various parts is connected to the ground using a suitable connection wire, is formed slightly smaller than the mounting hole 5 formed in the panel 4, and the outer casing 2 is The front frame 3 integrally attached to the front is formed larger than the mounting hole 5, and the outer casing 2 is inserted into the mounting hole 5 from the front side of the panel 4, and the holding part 6 integrated with the panel 4 and other parts are inserted. The instrument 1 is fixed to the panel 4 by appropriate means. The meter 1 is grounded to a ground wire 8 connected to a portion 4a of the panel 4 provided for connecting input/output signals of the meter.

By the way, as shown in the figure, a normal panel has coatings 9 and 9 applied to its front and back surfaces, respectively. Therefore, when connecting the grounding wire 8 to the panel part 4a, the coating on this part must be completely removed, which makes the connection work extremely troublesome and may not be done properly. If paint remains, good grounding cannot be obtained and normal operation of the instrument will be inhibited.

In addition, in this type of instrument, when high frequency radio noise from a transceiver or the like, in other words, artificial lightning is affected, it is normally discharged to the outside through the grounding wire, but in this case, it is not connected to the terminal 7. This may cause induction noise to be generated in other input/output signal connection lines, which may impede the operation of the instrument.

The present invention was developed in view of the above, and by establishing direct continuity between the instrument and the panel and grounding the outer casing of the instrument when the instrument is fixed to the panel, the instrument can be easily grounded and the grounding can be ensured. The purpose of this invention is to provide a meter mounting structure that can ensure the normal operation of the meter.

In order to achieve this purpose, the present invention
A metal outer casing containing various electronic components, a flange integrally provided at the front end of the outer casing, a protrusion formed by bending the corner of the flange, and a projection attached to the front surface of the flange with screws or the like. The instrument is constructed with a front frame made of plastic or the like, and the instrument is attached to the panel with the protrusion sticking into the front of the panel.

以下、本考案を図示の実施例により説明する。 Hereinafter, the present invention will be explained with reference to illustrated embodiments.

FIG. 2 is a partially exploded perspective view of an embodiment of the present invention. In the figure, a meter 10 is composed of an outer casing 11 and a front frame 12, which are formed separately. The outer casing 11 is formed into a box shape using a metal material, and various electronic components are housed inside the outer casing 11. This outer casing 11
Flanges 13 are integrally formed on the upper and lower edges of the front end, respectively, and the corners of the flanges 13 are bent at approximately right angles, and the tips of the corners protrude toward the rear of the instrument, thereby forming projections 15. ing.

On the other hand, the front frame 12 is made of an insulating material such as plastic and is formed into a rectangular frame shape. Then, the flanges 13, 13 and the front frame 12 are integrally coupled with mounting screws 14 to form the meter 10.

According to this configuration, when the instrument 10 is attached to a panel as shown in FIG.
penetrates the panel surface, breaks through the panel coating, reaches the inside of the panel, and connects the outer casing 11 to the flange 13.
And conduction is made to the panel via the protrusion 15. This allows the outer casing 11 to be directly connected to the panel,
That is, it can be connected to a grounding body to ensure normal operation of the meter.

Therefore, by simply machining the corners of the flange 13 to form the protrusions 15, the outer casing 11 can be automatically grounded by attaching the instrument 10 to a panel in the same manner as before. Instrument installation and grounding can be done extremely easily.

Further, in this configuration, the protrusion 15 is attached to the flange 13.
It is only necessary to bend the corners of the holder, and there is no need to form a protrusion using a separate part, and the structure can be simplified.

Furthermore, in this configuration, since the front frame 12 is attached to the front side of the flange 13, the protrusion 15 provided on the flange 13 is not exposed on the front surface of the meter 10, and the appearance of the meter is not impaired.

As described above, according to the instrument mounting structure of the present invention,
The corner of the flange that is integrated with the outer casing of the instrument is bent to form a protrusion, and when the instrument is attached to the panel, the protrusion pierces the panel and connects the outer casing to the panel, making it possible to ground the instrument reliably and easily. This has the effect of ensuring the normal operation of the instrument and improving reliability.
