Abstract

PURPOSE:To permit the heat of the refrigerating cycle of a cold storage device to be used effectively for the heat source of air conditioning, by a method wherein the heat of respective heat exchangers for cooling and heat dissipating in the refrigerating cycle is accumulated in a heat accumulating material to effect the air conditioning of a room by utilizing the accumulated heat. CONSTITUTION:The main body of a cold storage device is provided with an air-conditioning device for cool air at the upper end and another air-conditioning device for warm-air at the lower end thereof. The inside of the main body 5 of the air-conditioning device is partitioned by a partitioning wall 6 and one chamber 7 is provided with a heat exchanger 3 for cooling of a refrigerating cycle or a heat exchanger 4 for dissipating heat while heat from the heat exchangers is accumulated in a heat accumulating material 9, provided in the other chamber 8, through an opening and closing window 17 formed on the partitioning wall 6. The heat, accumulated in the heat accumulating material 9, is dissipated into the room by opening the door 10 and driving a fan 15. According to this method, the heat of the refrigerating cycle may be utilized as the heat source for air conditioning.
