Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a film which prevents the penetration of electromagnetic waves harmful to a human body by a method wherein a magnetic film is attached onto the surface of a conductive film. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic substance film 2 is formed on the surface ot a conductive film 1 through a evaporation method or a sputtering method. The magnetic substance film 2 and the conductive film 1 have shielding effects for a magnetic field and an electric field respectively, so that an electromagnetic wave is prevented from penetrating. By these processes, a film which prevents the penetration of an electromagnetic wave harmful to a human body can be obtained.

Conventionally, CRTs used in computer monitors and home televisions have insufficient measures to suppress the transmission of electromagnetic waves, so the damage to the human body cannot be ignored. In addition, because static electricity is generated on the CRT tube surface, dust tends to adhere to the surface, causing static electricity shock to the human body. Also, if the human body is electrically charged while working on electronic circuits, etc., it may cause damage to MO8 semiconductors, etc. There was a problem.

FIG. 1 shows an embodiment of the film according to the present invention, and shows a cross-sectional view of the film. A magnetic film 2 is produced on the surface of a conductive film 1 by a vapor deposition method or a snow ivy method, and the magnetic film has a magnetic field, and the conductive film has a continuous electric field effect. No, it can prevent the transmission of electromagnetic waves. Therefore, by applying the film according to the present invention directly to the CRT tube surface or to the protective cover of the CRT, electromagnetic interference to the user can be sufficiently prevented.
