Abstract

PURPOSE:To manufacture efficiently a fiber-reinforced resin molded body having favorable surface feeling and a macadam pattern by a method wherein a macadam patterned sheet comprised of e transparent cured resin layer and transparent cured gel coat layer is fixed to a molding tool, to which colored curing gel coat solution is applied, a reinforcing fiber is laminated and the colored curing gel coat solution is cured. CONSTITUTION:A macadam patterned sheet comprised of a transparent curing resin layer where macadamlike particles and a short fiber are fixed and a transparent curing gel coat layer is fixed to a predetermined position of a molding tool so that the transparent curing gel coat layer abuts against a mold surface. A colored curing gel coat solution is applied to the whole surface of a mold surface, reinforcing fiber is laminated further, the colored curing gel coat solution is cured and a fiber-reinforced resin molded body having a macadam pattern is manufactured. Since the macadam patterned sheet obtained by coating the macadamlike particles with the transparent curing gel coat layer is used, the macadam pattern has stereoscopic effect, moreover, the macadamlike particles do not appear directly on the surface and surface feeling is favorable.
