Abstract
Description

第4図及び第5図において、本体1及びカバー2からな
るモールド樹脂のケース内には、固定接点3を有する端
子板を兼ねた固定接触子4、可動接点5を有する可動接
触子6、消弧室7などが収容されている。なお、6aは
可動接触子6の開路位置を示すものである。
消弧室7は、耐弧絶縁板をU字状に折り曲げて形成した
隔壁8の内側に消弧板0を間隔を置いて多数積み重ねて
構成されている。消弧板9は鉄板でできており、可動接
触子6が移動する部分がlj字状ないしはV字状に切り
欠かれ、その両端の突起を隔壁8の両袖部に嵌め込んで
保持されている。
lOはアークホーンである。
このような消弧室7は、第4図に示すように、可動接触
子6の図示実線閉成位置から6aの破線開離位置に至る
移動軌跡を囲むように可動接触子6に対向して配置され
ている。
このような回路しゃ断器において、回路に短絡などが発
生すると、トリップ装置11が動作してトリップ機構1
2を駆動し、可動接触子6は第・1図の鎖線位置6aま
で開離する。このとき固定接点3と可動接点5との間に
はアークが発生ずる。
このアークは消弧板9内に引き込まれ°ζ切欠部の奥の
方へ移動する。このアークは消弧板9により冷却される
とともに、各消弧板9間の短いアークに分割され、アー
ク電圧が高められる。そして、隔壁8を構成する絶縁物
が高温に曝されて熱分解により消弧性のガスが発生し、
消弧室7内の圧力が」二昇する。このガスはモールドケ
ース内の空気ど共にアークに吹き付けられ消弧が行われ

には切欠16の開口部16aにおいて可動接触子6に向
かって伸びる突出片15aが設けられており、開口部1
6aの幅が狭められている。
第2図は可動接触子6が開離した状態の消弧室14の継
断面図、第3図はその平面図である。回路しゃ断器がし
ゃ断動作を行い、可動接触子6が開^■すると、第2図
に示すように固定接点3と可動接点5との間には、アー
ク17が発生する。その結果、すでに述べたように消弧
室14内の圧力は上昇し、この圧力は第3図に矢印で示
すようにバカに広がる。特に隔壁8の無い開閉機横13
側へは漏れが生じる。
そこで、図示実施例においては消弧板15に突出片15
aを設け、その内側の端面(板圧面)でその圧力を受け
ることによって漏れを少なくし、消弧室14内の圧力を
