In lighting equipment such as emergency lights and guide lights, a high-frequency inverter is operated in an emergency, and the oscillation output is used to light the discharge lamp. Therefore, it is necessary to always have a battery as the operating power source for the high-frequency inverter. I have to. Usually, this type of battery is attached to the main body of the device so that it can be easily replaced.
It must be easy to remove, and when installed, it must not move unnecessarily.

For this reason, the battery is attached elastically using a spring material. The use of wire springs as the spring material for this installation is being considered,
This has the advantage that it is easy to process the desired shape. However, in order to securely support the battery using the elasticity of the wire spring, if you try to generate elasticity by engaging both ends of the wire spring with any part of the device body, then the engaging point must be located in at least two locations. Therefore, there is a drawback that forming the engagement portion is troublesome.

An embodiment of this invention will be described with reference to the drawings. 1 is the main body of the instrument, which is configured as a mouth-shaped frame when viewed from the front. 2 is its side wall, and 3 is its bottom wall. A socket base 4 is fixed to the side wall 2, and a socket 5 is supported on this. It goes without saying that a socket stand is also fixed to the other opposing side wall (not shown), and a socket is attached to this, so that the discharge lamp is supported by both sockets. A battery 6 is installed on the surface of the bottom wall 3.

According to this idea, a fixture 7 made of a wire spring
is used. As can be understood from the illustrated configuration, this fixture 7 is made by first bending a wire spring into a U-shape, with a bent portion 8 on the distal end side and a proximal end portion 9 on the proximal side.
A and 9B are formed respectively. Then, the bent portion 8 side and the base end portions 9A, 9B side are bent in opposite directions about the flat central portions 10A, 10B. On the other hand, the socket base 4 has a pair of cut pieces 11A and 11B facing in opposite directions.
form. Then, a small hole 12 is formed slightly above the formation position of one cut and raised piece 11A. Each base end portion 9A, 9B is inserted between each cut and raised piece 11A, 11B and the surface of the socket base 4, and the base end portion 9A is inserted between the L
The tip portion 9A' bent into a character shape is inserted into the small hole 12. In the figure, the socket base is also used for attaching the fixing tool 7, but an independent fixing frame may be used instead.

The battery 6 is elastically supported by the fixture 7 installed in this manner. That is, one end of the battery 6 is brought into contact with the lower end of the socket base 4, and in this state, the bent part 8 of the fixture 7
(This is a free end in the above-mentioned installed state) elastically presses the battery 6 toward the socket base 4 from the other end. As a result, the horizontal movement of the battery 6 is restricted. Also, the distal end 9A' of the proximal end 9A is the small hole 1.
2 and is restrained from moving upward, the center portions 10A and 10B, especially the center portion 10
A is elastically pressed against the battery 6 from its surface to bring it into contact. As a result, movement of the battery 6 in the vertical direction is restricted.

To attach the fixture 7 to the battery 6, first, the base end 9A is made horizontal (vertical in the figure) and the tip end 9A' is inserted into the small hole 12. Next, the base end 9
A is returned to the vertical position as shown in the figure, and at this time, the proximal end 9A is inserted inside the cut and raised piece 11A. As a result, the central portion 10A is pressed from the surface of the battery 6, and the bent portion 8 is pressed from the end of the battery 6 toward the socket base 4. Thereafter, the proximal end portion 9B is sufficiently pulled toward the proximal end portion 9A side, and then inserted into the inside of the cut and raised piece 11B. This means that the fixture 7 has been installed. In order to remove the fixture 7 once attached, it is sufficient to perform the operation opposite to that described above. In order to operate the base end 9B as described above, it is preferable to bend the tip of the base end 9B as shown in the figure. Furthermore, it is convenient if the end surface of this bent portion resiliently abuts against the surface of the socket base 4, as this prevents the base end portion 9B from moving unnecessarily.

As detailed above, according to this invention, when a fixing device made of a wire spring is used to fix the battery in a removable manner, the fixing device only supports the proximal end, and the opposite side is free. Since the free end is elastically pressed against the socket base, there is no need to engage the free end with the main body of the device, and therefore the troublesome process of forming the engagement part is eliminated. In addition, since the proximal end of the fixture is engaged with the socket base and not directly with the instrument body, direct processing of the instrument body is not required for attachment and engagement of the fixture. Therefore, the appearance of the main body of the device is not impaired in any way, and as mentioned above, since the tip of the fixture is a free end, batteries of different heights can be connected as they are without any particular hindrance. It produces various effects when attached.
