Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a thin paper sheet carrying belt which can be simply and precisely manufactured by composing a belt of a surface layer formed of a nonwoven paper or cloth, a back rubber layer, a tension member layer and a bottom rubber layer. CONSTITUTION:A carrying belt 1 used for carrying paper sheets is composed of a surface layer 2 formed of a nonwoven paper or cloth, a back rubber layer 3, a tension member layer 4 and a bottom rubber layer 5. Since the nonwoven paper or cloth absorbs moisture generated during the using of the belt, a carried material member does not change extensively in its contacting state, and can therefore be steadily fed. In addition, since the nonwoven paper or cloth can discharge gas generated during a vulcanizing process, a core member is not disordered during the vulcanizing process to allow the precise manufacture of the thin paper sheet carrying belt 1.

(Problem to be solved by the invention) However, in such belts, an unvulcanized rubber sheet is wrapped directly around the mold, and a cord is wrapped around it, so the mold release agent expands during vulcanization and generates gas. However, there is no place for the gas (steam) to escape in the width direction of the cord, and the gas becomes trapped, causing the cord to move up and down. Therefore, it may be possible to use canvas, but in this case, the cords would be disturbed at the joints of the canvas, and the rigidity would change at the joints of the canvas, resulting in large rotational irregularities. It cannot be used as a belt.

In addition, if the thickness of the rubber part on the side in contact with the mold is increased to support the cord, the cord will sink significantly due to the flow of rubber during vulcanization, while the thickness of the rubber part on the mold side If it is made thinner, waving will occur.

Pasting the nonwoven fabric 11 (or nonwoven paper) on the vulcanization mold 10 1. On top of that, a thin unvulcanized rubber sheet 12 is pasted, a cord 13 serving as a core is wound in a spiral shape, and an unvulcanized rubber sheet 14 is pasted again, after which it is properly cured by pressure heating. In this way, even if the mold release agent applied to the surface of the mold 10 expands and becomes gas, the gas will be discharged through the nonwoven fabric 11 and will not become stuck.
Since the cord 13 is supported by the non-woven fabric 11 as well as the unvulcanized rubber sheet 12, the cord 13 does not move up and down, the position of the cord 13 (cord 4a of the belt 1) is constant and aligned, and there is no disturbance. Does not occur.

FIG. 5 shows an example of the layout of an apparatus to which the belt 1 described above is applied. One belt 21 is wound around a drive pulley 22 and three guide pulleys 23°24.25, and another belt 26 is wound around another drive pulley 27 and four guide pulleys 28°29.30.31. The belts 21 and 26 are in contact with each other at a portion, and bills, forms, tickets, etc. are held and conveyed at the contact portion. Therefore, the belt 1 is required to have a certain degree of rigidity, but according to the present invention, the rigidity is increased to a certain degree by the use of nonwoven paper or nonwoven fabric, which is also advantageous in terms of supporting rigidity of conveyed objects.

(Effects of the Invention) According to the belt of the present invention, moisture (steam) generated during use is absorbed by the nonwoven paper or nonwoven fabric, so the belt can be stably transported without causing any major changes in the contact state with the transported object. Can transport things. In addition, according to the manufacturing method of the present invention, the gas generated during vulcanization is exhausted by the nonwoven paper or nonwoven fabric, so the core body is not disturbed during vulcanization, and a belt for conveying thin paper sheets can be used. It can be manufactured with high precision.
