The length measured by a modern length measuring device is converted into the amount of light, which is extracted as an electrical signal via a photoelectric element, and this electrical signal is converted into a digital value and displayed, and if necessary, printed and recorded along with the display. However, in the past, it was difficult to measure minute lengths and it was not possible to obtain accurate length measurements.

The main body 1 has a vertical hole 3 with a rectangular cross section that opens on the bottom surface.
and a horizontal hole 4 that is perpendicular to this and communicates with the intermediate part.
A sliding piece 5 having a rectangular cross section is provided in the vertical hole 3 so that both sides of the sliding piece 5 are inscribed in the hole wall surface so as to be movable in the length direction of the horizontal hole 4, and a measuring element 6 is provided protruding from the lower surface of the sliding piece 5. Therefore, the measuring element 6 can be moved within the vertical hole 3 along the length of the horizontal hole 4. Further, a guide rod 7 which is long in the moving direction is integrally connected to the sliding piece 5 with a locking screw 7a, and both ends of the guide rod 7 are supported by the main body 1 so that it moves together with the sliding piece 5. Elastic springs 8 and 9 having different strengths act on both ends of the spring 8, and on the other hand, in the illustrated example, the strength of the spring 8, which has a weaker resilient force, can be slightly adjusted by moving the adjustment screw 8a back and forth. I did it like that.

A part 1a of the main body 1 is extended, a linear scale 10 is attached to the part, and a bullet is fired (not shown).
The operating rod 11 was placed in the horizontal hole 4, and its tip was brought into contact with the side surface of the sliding piece 5 in the vertical hole 3. The linear scale 10 is commercially available, and as described later, when detecting the amount of displacement of an article, the amount of movement of the operating rod 11, which moves forward and backward, is converted into the amount of light inside the case, which is converted into an electrical signal by a photoelectric element. It is something that performs an action.

As mentioned above, this product is used as a length measuring device that extracts the length between two points to be measured on an article as an electrical signal, and then combines it with a digital counter to directly display the measured length as a digital value. The hole 3 is arranged so that the sliding piece 5 can move from side to side within the hole 3.
The tip of the operating rod 11 of the linear scale 10 is brought into contact with the side surface of the linear scale 10, and the operating rod 11 can move left and right by its elastic force and the movement of the sliding piece 5. The springs 8, 9 and the operating rod 11 are adjusted by the adjusting screw 8a to set the zero point.
After balancing the elastic force of the main body 1 against the measuring object.
When the fixed measuring element 12 is brought into contact with a measuring point at one end of the part to be measured and the movable measuring point is moved to match the other measuring point and the movable measuring element 6 is brought into contact, the sliding piece 5 must be moved horizontally. The operating rod 11 of the linear scale 10, which is in contact with the side surface of the linear scale, moves back and forth accordingly, and the length between the two measurement points due to this movement is extracted as an electrical signal, and this can be displayed as a digital value by the digital counter A. Furthermore, by combining this with Printer B, it is possible to record the amount of length.Furthermore, as another usage mode, to measure the degree of expansion and contraction of the article, it is possible to record the length when setting the zero point as described above. The state in which the distance between the measuring element 12 and the movable measuring element 6 is regulated to the reference dimension l using a standard scale is set as 0 point and stored in the digital counter A, and then the measured length of the shrunken article is calculated. If the dimensions of the movable gauge 6 are measured when the fixed gauge head 12 is aligned with the point a and the movable gauge head 6 is aligned with the point b with two points a and b facing each other, the digital counter A is used to measure the standard. The amount of shrinkage d is displayed as a digital value by comparison with the dimensions, and the movement of the movable measuring point 6 is also performed when the measurement point b becomes longer than the reference dimension and becomes point b' due to elongation of the article. Accordingly, the amount of elongation d' is displayed as a digital value.

According to the present invention, both sides of the sliding piece 5 are in contact with the inner wall surface of the vertical hole 3, and the guide rod 7, which is integrated with the sliding piece 5, has both ends supported by the main body 1. The movement of the sliding piece 5 is precisely regulated, and as the sliding piece 5 moves, the operating rod 11 of the linear scale 10 is moved back and forth, so the length can be measured extremely precisely and precisely, and the operating rod 11 is also moved back and forth. The movement of the sliding piece 5 can be balanced with the advancing force caused by the elasticity of the operating rod 11 by adjusting the elastic force applied to both ends of the guide rod 7, which is integral with the sliding piece 5. Fine forward and backward movements can be expected, thereby allowing minute length measurements to be obtained, and when used in conjunction with a linear scale, the measured dimension length can be displayed as a digital value and has the effect of being directly readable.
