To prevent accidents in which when a person jumps into the water wearing a life jacket, he falls face down and his face becomes submerged, he becomes unable to breathe, and due to the cold water temperature, he drowns in a short period of time, and rescue cannot be reached in time. A device in which floating bodies having different buoyancy are attached to the left and right sides of the front chest is disclosed, for example, in Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 51-28215.

However, since both have separate left and right parts, they are expensive. The former is a floating body filled with foamed polyethylene, etc., which makes it bulky and inconvenient to fold and store. In addition, waterproof clothing has a bag-like structure that extends to the tips of the hands and fingers, so in an emergency, you can tighten the chuck or pack the bag. There is a problem in that it becomes a hindrance to work such as spreading and stopping the ship, or moving on the ship and jumping off. The latter requires expensive air filling devices for the left and right buoyant bodies, respectively.

Composition of the invention [Means for solving the problem] A waterproof coat that covers the whole body from the face to the extremities, except for the face, is made of heat-retaining, waterproof, and buoyant material, and a watertight chuck 3 is provided in the center of the front body of the coat. In the life jacket,
Attach the buoyancy bag 2 to one chest, and in normal times, fold it vertically and position it on the chest surface where it is attached, and attach the stopper 5.
, and in an emergency, it is expanded to the other chest surface and the expanded end is fixed to the other chest surface with fasteners 6 and 7. A lifesaving suit characterized by being configured such that the center of buoyancy of the buoyancy bag is biased toward one of the left and right chest.

During normal times, the buoyancy bag 2 is folded vertically and attached to one front chest surface, so there is no inconvenience when folding it up and storing it. When unfolded and inflated in an emergency, the center of buoyancy of the bag is located on one chest side,
The wearer naturally assumes a supine posture.

The life jacket 1 has a buoyant heat-insulating layer 1a made of, for example, rubber/plastic foam or kapoku.
It is formed by gluing, welding, sewing, etc. on plastic or waterproof cloth coated with plastic. The charging device 4 opens a valve due to water intrusion and sends nonflammable gas such as nitrogen or carbon dioxide from a cylinder to the bag 2, or generates gas to fill the bag 2 by contact with water or by starting a seawater battery. It is an automatic gas generator that inflates. These filling devices are known.

A cut 10 sufficient for putting in and taking out the hand is provided in the sleeve 9 of the waterproof coat 1 slightly above the wrist, and the coat is connected to the cut 10 and attached. When working, remove your hands from the dustproof coat and cut
It is inserted into the glove 11 through 0 (connection port) and replaced when the work is finished. To prevent cold air from seeping in when you withdraw your hands after work,
0 is provided with a lid-like piece of fabric 12 of a waterproof coat 1 to keep it cold.

Effect of the invention Since the life jacket has an opening for putting on and taking off in the center of the front body, the buoyancy body that allows the wearer to naturally look up when he or she falls into the water is placed on the left and right chest separately, as in the conventional example. It is necessary to wear items with different levels of buoyancy. Therefore, the sewing process is troublesome, making mass production difficult and increasing costs.

る。 In view of the above points, the present invention is an inflatable buoyancy bag, which is fixed to one chest surface, folded and secured, and in an emergency, it is unfolded and its expanded end is secured to the other chest surface. Because of this, it is sufficient to attach one bag to one side of the chest, making the sewing process simple. During normal times, the inflatable bag is folded flat and vertically, so it is not bulky like a solid buoyant body, making it convenient for storage. It is easy to wear and does not interfere with closing the chuck, and even if it is spread out on the chest until entering the water, it does not get a little uncomfortable and has good workability. Once in the water, a single filled bag creates a difference in buoyancy between the left and right sides.
