Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable the length of a binder to be varied through connection of longitudinal members having different lengths, by a construction wherein an engaging means and a means to be engaged are provided at one end of a longitudinal member of a binder comprising a plurality of semi-annular members arranged for a hinge operation, and fastening the two kinds of means of adjacent longitudinal members to each other. CONSTITUTION:A connecting part comprises an engaging means 20 provided at each end part of one longitudinal member and a means 22 to be engaged provided at an end part of the other longitudinal member 8. The engaging means 20, protruding in a hook form from the end part of the longitudinal member 6, is formed as one body with the bottom surface of the member 6. A sheath-shaped spring member 12 is inserted through grooves at outer edge parts of each set of the longitudinal members in the connected condition, and provides a spring force for opening and closing operations of a connected binder device and lateral supporting forces.

用手段及び係合用手段とを相互に掛止させることによっ
て構成された事を特徴とする連結バインダ綴具が提供さ
れる。上記構成によれば、本発明の連結バインダ綴具に
於て一方の組の長手方向部材に加えられたバインダ開閉
の為の力が前記連結部を介して他方の組の長手方向部材
に有効に伝達されることから、特定長さの金型によって
製造された異なる長さ寸法のバインダ綴具を夫々組合わ
せ可能であり、従って少ない数の金型によって種々の長
さのリーフに対応し得るバインダ綴具を形成可能とする
作用効果を奏する。
