Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide the fan having the higher efficiency with a simple mechanism by using a fan as an earth electrode, disposing an ionization electrode wire thereto, generating an electric field for the purpose of ionization therebetween and sticking the electrified dust to the fan by this electric field. CONSTITUTION:The ionization electrode wire 3 is provided before the air suction port of the fan 2 through a casing 1 and the fan 2 is maintained at the earth potential. The electric field is formed therebetween. The fan 2 is acted as a dust precipitating electrode on the strong electric field generated by the positive high voltage on the ionization electrode wire 3 side and the earth potential on the fan 2 side and, therefore, the electrified dust sticks to the fan 2 on the dust precipitating side and is thus collected. The fan itself is utilized as the dust precipitating part in such a manner, by which the mechanism is simplified and the complete removal of the dust and the cleaning of the air are attained.
