Abstract

PURPOSE:To decrease assembly process by fixing directly a leaf spring to a circuit board so as to insert and hold a panel supplying base and a liquid crystal display panel. CONSTITUTION:A leaf spring 25 for inserting and holding a panel supporting base 22 and a liquid crystal display panel 23 and fixing them directly to a circuit board 21 is formed in a rectangular frame shape, and each frame part has a bent part bent roughly vertically to the lower part by notching a corner part. Also, in both the frame parts running along the longitudinal direction, an engaging hole 25a which is engaged to the projecting part 21a of the circuit board 21 is formed in the center part of its bent part, and fitting holes 25b which are fitted to four projections 22a of the panel supporting base 22 are formed in the end part. Accordingly, by the leaf spring 25 and the circuit board 21, the panel supporting base 22 and the liquid crystal display panel 23 can be inserted and held, and fixed. In such a way, a fixing process for the panel supporting base 22 and the circuit board 21 can be omitted, and the number of assembly processes of the liquid crystal display panel 23 can be decreased.
