Abstract

PURPOSE:To confine directly or absorb noises generated in spaces defined between reinforcing members and the surface of a floor, either by attaching a soundproof member to the bottom plate of a tank or to side plates of the tank near the bottom plate, or by inserting sound absorbing members in the gaps between the tank bottom plate and the floor surface. CONSTITUTION:A body tank 3 receiving contents of a body together with an insulating oil is placed on a floor, and reinforcing members 7 are attached on the outside of a bottom plate 32 of the tank with a certain distance from each other. A soundproof member 11 is arranged so as to shut gap spaces 10 defined between the reinforcing members 7 and the surface of the floor. Alternatively, sound absorbing members 12 may be arranged within these spaces.
