Abstract

PURPOSE:To contrive improvement of productivity and work efficiency at forming up of a door body and to attain reduction of production costs, by fitting surfacing materials with window holes, corresponding to window frame members, to both faces of a door frame, and by molding integrally surface edges for fitting window panel materials on a part by the window-hole-side of the surfacing materials. CONSTITUTION:At a part of a frame 10 of a door body, window frame members 12 are provided and window panel materials are contained therein. Surfacing materials 11 equipped with window holes 19, corresponding to the window frame materials 12, are fitted on both faces of the door frame 10 and, at the same time, the window panel materials are fixed to the window frame materials 12 with surface edges 20. At press molding of the surfacing materials 11 on the both faces, the surface edges 20 are made with a part by the window-side projecting in a flange shape for fixing of the window material. Then, the frame 10 is fitted to the door body with its upper- end side open. The surfacing materials 11 are fitted on both faces of the frame 10, and sheet glasses 18 are inserted from the top-side into the window frames 12, and thick glass retainers 21 are also inserted from the top-side and a top ledge 22 is fixed to the upper edge of the frame 10 with screws 23.
